Podere I Pereti was entirely build by our grandfather Remo in the 1970's.
My siblings and I spent most of our summers on the porch with our grandparents watching sunsets and admiring the view of the Val d'Orcia.
The kitchen was always the heart of the house where our grandmother Cesira prepared the delicious Sunday lunches that
were eaten in front of the fireplace or outside under the porches.
For this reason, the kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances an Italian house must have, including the wood burning kitchen range with its own oven.
Podere I Pereti is entirely surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. Nonno Remo, besides having a building company, proudly produced Orcia red wine that was consumed by the family, together with vinsanto that was offered to the guests.
From the 150 olive trees, every November we filled our tanks with green gold olive oil.
Our father Alessandro in 2014 began a restoration project that lasted three years. Thanks to his passion for architecture, nature and his good taste in interior design, the house has finishing of the highest quality: travertine floors, upstairs parquet, floor heating and cooling system. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. Three balconies overlook the Orcia valley giving it's residents a stunning view of the Tuscan sunrise.
FYI : Video Surveillance: – The Property has one external security camera placed on the main gate for security reason.
