We are a dog friendly home for small to medium size dog(s) less than 50 lbs. Please provide your dog's details for pre-approval (name, size, breed, if you plan to have more than one, etc.). We may make an exception for more than 2 dogs, or dogs over 50 lbs., on a case-by-case basis.
When adding a dog to your reservation, a pet fee, is added. If there is more than one dog, an additional pet fee, per additional dog, shall be requested . The Pet Addendum shall be completed and signed.
Please advise if you will have one or more Service Animal(s). The Service Animal Addendum shall be completed and signed.

We offer competitive pricing for our market and included amenities (yes the electric heated / heat pump pool is included). The price is the same for an occupancy of 2 people as it is for the maximum occupancy of 6 people. Occupancy numbers include children ages 0-17 years old. We offer additional nightly rate discounts for weekly or monthly stays that may be stacked with a promotional discount, e.g. return Guest discount. Only one promotion may be combined with a weekly or monthly discount; even if a Guest is eligible for more than one promotion. VRBO applies discounts and promotions automatically to a reservation.
Pricing, discounts and promotions are subject to change at any time.
To assist in making your vacation more affordable we partnered with VRBO to divide payments up into 3 installments.
We offer contactless check-in / check-out. Guests may check-in any time AFTER 4:00 PM EST and check-out any time BEFORE 10:00 AM EST.
Our Guests may choose a 4-digit access code, or the last 4-digits of the primary Guest’s phone number shall be used to access the garage door keypad, front door lock, and ADT Security system (optional).
Routine maintenance is performed including lawn care, pool service, salt delivery, pest control, A/C, and pool heater / heat pump maintenance, etc.
We provide a dog friendly environment. Your furry friend will enjoy using the medium size doggy door from the back lanai, to the pool enclosure, to the fenced-in backyard.

We are a 100% non-smoking property. There shall be NO SMOKING permitted ANYWHERE on the property. This includes the enclosed front porch, sidewalk, driveway, inside / outside the garage, inside the home, in the back lanai, inside or outside the pool enclosure, and in the front and back yards. This strict No Smoking policy includes all forms of smoking (e.g. marijuana, cigarettes, cigars, vaping, etc.).
NO events, NO parties, NO large gatherings permitted.
Occupancy shall not exceed the maximum (6), including children, and/or the maximum number of vehicles (3). Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.
Florida's saltwater environment may cause hybrid or electric vehicle batteries to spontaneously catch on fire. Therefore, no electric vehicles may park inside the garage or near the house.
No large vehicles, trucks or SUVs may park inside the garage. We have experienced too many Guests hitting our garage wall(s) while attempting to park their large vehicle, truck or SUV inside the garage.
Reasons GRANT SERENE HOUSE is Your Next VRBO Choice
Walk through the sliding glass doors to the back lanai. The lanai is 25’ x 9-1/2’, UV protected, screened enclosure, providing additional protection from the sun and bugs. There is an outdoor kitchen equipped with a mini fridge, pizza maker, BBQ grill and sink. Two ceiling fans and a large dining table for 6 make evening meals a breeze. No need to go inside the house to use the bathroom, there is a convenient, air-conditioned, pool bathroom on the back lanai.
Step outside the back lanai and enter the 54’ x 34’, UV protected, screen enclosure and you will find a breathtaking, 32’ x 14’, geometric, custom built, saltwater, swimming pool. The pool depth is 3'6" at the shallow end that slopes down to a pool depth of 5'6" at the deep end. It is electric heated with a heat pump to take the chill out when the weather is cooler. SW Florida can experience cooler weather and the electric heat pump does not perform efficiently in 45-50 degree weather. On those cooler nights relax in the plug-and-play hot tub.
Privacy WILL surround the pool enclosure by Areca palm trees and calusa bushes when they grow and mature. A pool barrier fence encloses the pool for the safety of children. At the deep end of the pool (5' 6"), an inviting 7’ x 10’ sun shelf awaits you to soak up the Florida sun sitting on the ledge chairs in 6 inches of water. Here you can listen to the soothing sounds of the water bubbler / fountain. The built-in pool bench provides additional seating to gather family and friends around the sun shelf. There is another mini-fridge to keep beverages cold by the pool.
Before or after swimming enjoy a soothing outdoor shower from head to toe. From dusk to dawn the lanai lights will illuminate the pool area creating a serene ambience. You can control the lanai lights with a remote to change colors, dim the lights, or turn them off for a restful night’s sleep. Experience the comfort of polywood loungers and chairs in the back lanai and around the pool. Bring your night swimming to life with two (2) pool LED lights and one (1) LED light inside the bubbler on the sundeck.
ADT Security protects Parker Bliss and its Guests. There are exterior Blink security cameras viewing the street, sidewalk, enclosed front porch (Ecobee video doorbell), driveway (+MyQ Garage Keypad), inside the garage (+MyQ garage door opener), each side of the house, and pool enclosure (3). Each security camera or viewable area is identified with a security sticker, label or sign. The security cameras are motion-activated and will record video/audio clips; they are not monitored 24-hours a day; and they will automatically delete after 30 days. For Guest privacy we turn off the Blink Camera notifications, but we reserve the right to look at live or captured video clips when appropriate.
Ecobee smart thermostat communicates with smart room sensors, windows or door sensors to help keep the Grant Serene comfortable. Room sensors are in the living room, kitchen, and each bedroom. Ecobee will turn the A/C off when a window or door is left open for several minutes and turn the A/C back on when all windows and doors are closed. The A/C has a heating element that can be used to warm the house in cooler weather.
Ecobee allows our Guests to adjust the temperature from 68 degrees and up. During extreme heat conditions, the house may not cool to the low temperature range. In addition to running the A/C, we recommend using the large ceiling fans in the living room and bedrooms to assist in your comfort level.
Ecobee smart thermostat will remember past Guest’s temperature preferences, which may be too cold or too hot for your comfort. Please contact us if you desire a more comfortable temperature during your stay so that we can adjust past programming.
Quantum Fiber high-speed Internet / Wi-Fi is available to connect your personal devices.
There is an Amazon Echo Dot (Alexa) in the living room that is used to announce / chime when someone is at the sidewalk / outside the enclosed front porch and pushes the Blink video doorbell. This doorbell is in place in case the front porch screen door is locked. Our Guests can unplug the Amazon Echo Dot (Alexa) if they choose.
The Living Room has a 75” Samsung Smart TV, with DISH Network satellite TV service and 3.1 Polk surround sound system. Bluetooth speakers allow you to connect your own phone / media devices to listen to music when you are not watching TV. The Fireplace media center provides a romantic setting when the flames are turned on or supply heat on those chilly Florida nights. The power recliner has a built-in USB to power up your devices, two cup holders to hold your favorite beverage, and push buttons to put your feet up. Lie on the modern sectional and push the ottoman in close for instant snuggle time.
The Kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. It is furnished with everyday essentials such as a large cup coffee maker, single serve Keurig, tea kettle, toaster, waffle maker, dishes, slow cooker, bakeware, and other cookware. Eat at the breakfast bar on swivel bar stools or at the large dining room table for 6 people.
Bedroom #1 and Bedroom #2 each have a Queen size bed, a nightstand, dresser, and a large closet. Enjoy TV in bed with the 58” Samsung Smart TV and DISH network.
The Guest bathroom has a single vanity, storage, toilet, and a tiled shower complete with a rainfall shower head and separate shower wand.
