"FantaSea", unser luxuriöses Strandhaus, ist perfekt für Familientreffen, große Familien oder mehrere Familien, die zusammen Urlaub machen.

Dieses Haus verfügt über 5 Schlafzimmer, darunter 4 Master-Suiten mit Kingsize-Betten und eigenem Bad. Eine der Master-Suiten kann als Au Pair / Family Suite genutzt werden und ist mit einem Kinderbett, einem übergroßen Stuhl, der in ein Doppelbett umgewandelt werden kann, und einer Morgenküche mit Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle ausgestattet. Es gibt auch einen Schlafraum für 8 Personen mit 4 Etagenbetten und 4 Doppelstockbetten. Alle Schlafzimmer haben Flachbildfernseher.

Die 1. Etage verfügt über eine Wet-Bar mit Eismaschine und Getränkekühler (bequem zum privaten Pool), einen Medien- / Aufenthaltsraum, einen Schlafraum, ein Badezimmer und eine private Master-Suite.

Die 2. Etage verfügt über eine private Master Suite, ein Büro, eine Waschküche, eine Gästetoilette, ein offenes Wohnzimmer, ein Esszimmer und eine Küche, 2 Veranden, eine davon ist abgeschirmt und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den See und den Golf.

Die 3. Etage verfügt über 2 Master-Suiten (von denen eine als Familiensuite genutzt werden kann), einen Trainingsraum und eine Veranda mit Blick auf den Golf, die sich hervorragend für ein ruhiges Nickerchen eignet.

Unser Haus bietet Privatsphäre, die in der Nähe des Strandes und all der anderen wundervollen Annehmlichkeiten, die Watersound zu bieten hat, nur selten zu finden ist.

More than we could hope for

Fantasea is a fantastic property for a family beach vacation. Tucked away off 30A, there is such a feeling of privacy and peace. This house has everything. Well constructed with gorgeous views, boardwalk through nature to the beach and a lovely pool. Our family’s favorite house by far for our annual summer vacation. They have thought of everything. We drove, but you could literally hop off a plane with a bathing suit and shorts and have all that you need.

Incredible home and close to Camp Creek and Shark's Tooth

I thought I posted this shortly after our weekend stay, but this house is amazing in every way. We had an impromptu golf trip in February and were fortunate enough to find this amazing home available for the three nights that we were traveling to FL. The owner was incredibly accommodating, and again, the house was incredible. There was more than enough room for everyone in our group and the location was perfectly situated near the airport and golf courses that we played. I hope that we will be fortunate enough to stay there again, and I cannot emphasize how nice and accommodating this house was for a fairly large group of adults. Thank you and hope to stay there again.

Nice house but Host MIA when we had a problem

The house was nice and we overall had a great stay! We had an issue with the basement door to the pool- it wouldn’t open. VERY inconvenient and the host could not be reached despite several attempt's by myself and VRBO help desk. VRBO offered to rebook us but that that point everyone was unpacked, the fridge was full of groceries and frankly I didn’t want to spend a day of my vacation moving houses.

I so wanted to love this property. Location was beautiful but the house had so many issues. Pool tile literally falling off into the pool (large areas missing), main fridge was broken so there was a temp fridge sitting in the middle of the dining room (we were not told about this until after checkin) - so not 2 fridges, wine fridge didn't work, paddle boards had holes, toilets ran constantly, dishwashers were missing buttons and left sediment all over dishes, broken blinds, light bulbs burned out, downstairs showers leaked, tv in master didn't work - all tvs were super old and remotes were missing, outdoor furniture was nasty and cushions were worn out, mattresses were old and sunk, blender was broken, overall the house was not very clean - dirty baseboards and walls, toilets had mold in them, bathroom floors were not very clean, all the couches and chairs were worn out - the bottom cushions literally sank when you sat on them. I absolutely cannot recommend!

Spacious and Private Property

We have a family of 8, all adults, that spent a week in this great home. We wanted a bedroom for 3 couples and 2 singles. It gave everyone their space. It’s location requires a short walk to the beach and includes a golf cart for those who need it. We’d highly recommend the home. It has some deferred maintenance items, but it is a rented VRBO home so some of that can be expected. We communicated that to the owner. Should we travel there for another vacation, we’d surely consider this home again for our stay.

Loved this Property

Our family had a wonderful stay at this large upscale property. The Neighborhood was gated and very very nice. This property is also somewhat secluded and backs up to a beautiful setting with trees, a view of the lake, sand dunes and then the ocean on a higher floor. The Golf cart provided made it easy to access the beach without leaving the neighborhood and since it was a private beach, there were no crowds. The summer is a busy time for Florida and 30A was no exception, but once inside of the neighborhood that all goes away for your relaxation. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, etc. nearby if you do want to to go out and explore. Overall, a great experience!

House with some issues

We had a nice time at the beach, but for the high price we paid, I would expect higher standards. Our host Kristin was somewhatresponsive with all the issues, but the following happened during our stay: We arrived and found overflowing trash with maggots in the garbage area that we had to bag up and fix and clean up and find a place for until garbage pick up came several days into our stay. We found dirty dishes on one of the balconies when we got there. Landscaping was a mess and there was a broken chair out by the pool, all contributing to a shabby look to the property There was a shower with a faucet broken off of it, a plumber had to come fix that and replace a tub drain, a smoke alarm was pulled from the ceiling sitting on the counter, one of the refrigerators spoiled some of our meat due to not maintaining temperature (we later found out it was a known issue to her), some curtains were askew off the rod, scratched walls and doors, door handles broken, duct tape keeping the golf cart together, no pump for bikes that had flat tires. We’ve stayed at a ton of rental properties; this was the priciest we’ve ever rented, and it was the lowest level of property management. I spent a lot of time texting our host about some of these issues instead of enjoying our vacation. She did offer $35 to replace the meat. At the end of our stay we left behind a pair of glasses. She charged us shipping plus a $35 handling fee to return them. For over $10,000, we would choose a different option next time.

Water Sound 2021

We loved this large, beautifully decorated, comfortable home & the gorgeous views of the lake & dunes. For large groups/families there's plenty of room to spread out with the downstairs game room, numerous porches & large bedrooms. The kitchen is well appointed. The golf cart & bikes are a big plus & make the trek to the beach shorter & easier. Kristin, the owner, was a pleasure to work with- super accommodating & readily available to answer any questions:) We would definitely rent again!

Overview

We spend 5 days at home. Aug. 7 to Aug. 12.2021. Would not stay there again because for the price we paid the quality not there. When we arrived my king bedroom sheets had hairs on and blood stain. Bedspread was nasty dirty. Thanks God I found in closet clean blanket. Home nice size, but pillows, sofa, patio furniture are so worn down and old. Weeds outside all around yard. Deck on patio and some rails need big time repair, Pillows on patios nasty mildew stains and so worn down. Probably many years old. No elevator in house- house not friendly for older people who need a walker. Watersound community terrible in regards getting to beach. A good 15 minutes walk. Golfcart not a big help since Watersound has no close acces to beach. You need to drive couple miles with golfcart to get to beach access, but than you still need to go down some boardwalk steps. My husband was not able to go into beach cause no access if yipu need walker or cane. This community is not friendly for older folks. After I check out I try to explain to owner- but you can not get any response back by owner Kristin. Be careful- they not replay back once you gone. Very unprofessional. Last time Watersound saw us By the way- boardwalks are getting very weather old.

The house is just as pictured. Very quiet location, nice size pool, easy walk to the beach. The beach is as good as it gets. We were a group of 18 and the house accompanied all of us comfortably. Would stay here again.

Potential but lack of communication

This house has great to potential but is starting to show its age and there was zero response from the property manager ahead of during our stay despite almost daily outreach via email, text or phone calls. Positives - this house is in a great quiet location and is quite large with more than enough space for 2 families to share. We loved the kids spacious bunk room and their downstairs family room. We paid up for a private pool but sadly did not get to use it as we didn't receive a response regarding turning on the "marketed" heater and it was too cold for the kids. Luckily there community pool was heated but again, we choose this house specifically for the pool. The kitchen was large and open but one refrigerator and one dishwasher were not working properly. Overall we had a nice stay but for the price we paid, we would have expected some form of customer service. I think we will stick with renting through rental agencies going forward.

Nice 30A getaway

Very nice house- numerous balconies overlooking the pool and the lake, with a bit of view of the ocean as well. Only issue we ran into was not being able to get in touch with the hosts upon check-in, but were able to get the gate code from security and luckily the cleaners were still there to let us in. We found out later (the next evening) that the hosts had been unreachable due to an illness. Other than that everything went smoothly. The beach is a short golf cart ride followed by a short walk across some boardwalks. The pool is nice and was heated which was great since we went in October.

The location of the home in the Watersound neighborhood was perfect. The private beach was very nice. I would definitely stay in this home again. A few mishaps along the way did impact our stay, but the property manager was quick to offer solutions and our stay was super fun and relaxing.

Would be a great house if it was properly maintained

We are an extended family group of 13 that rented the house for a week in June 2020. The house is beautiful and in a fantastic location. The view from the main deck is gorgeous. The pool is large and secluded. Upon arrival at the house everything appeared to be as advertised. Given the current Covid situation we had prepared and brought a large amount of food in coolers from home to minimize our trips out in public. We unloaded the food into the fridge and freezer and then noticed that there was a small dorm sized fridge in the corner of the kitchen. We assumed this was a beverage fridge and put wine and beer in it. About an hour after check-in we opened the fridge and noticed that it was not cold. Additionally, we noticed upon opening the freezer that it was dripping water everywhere. I immediately called the owner and he informed me that the fridge was broken and that was why he had provided a dorm size fridge in the corner for us to use. He further informed us that a repair company would be out on Monday and someone from our group would need to be there to let them in and supervise repairs. I was stunned! Not only did he clearly know that there was a problem with the fridge before we arrived at the house, but expected us to take time from our beach vacation to oversee repairs to his house! He also expected us to guess that the small dorm fridge was the only working fridge in the house. As it happened though, that fridge did not work either and failed to maintain safe food temp. the entire week. When the repairman finally arrived he told us the fridge was not repairable during our stay. We had to keep all of our food in coolers and constantly refill them with ice. When we contacted the owner we asked him why he would allow us to check-in without making us aware of the situation? He could not offer an explanation. I asked what he intended to do to make the the situation right. He said he would have to speak with his girlfriend, who actually owned the house, and get back to us. He never contacted us again despite multiple phone calls and emails from us. We ended up having to contact VRBO for a resolution. After we contacted VRBO we were refunded $2000. Ultimately, this was an adequate resolution, but we spent a considerable amount of time trying to track him down and then ultimately communicate with VRBO for a resolution. This was not a relaxing ay to spend a week at the beach.

Spring Break 2020

Lovely home and setting! The house was beautiful with everything we needed and then some! The multiple decks and screened porches were an added bonus, along with the workout room. Our large group of adults and teenagers had plenty of space. The first floor was ideal for the teenagers to have their own space and the adults had the remainder of the house. We loved the pool and private setting so we didn't have to worry that the kids were too loud and bothering the neighbors. The owners were quick to answer questions and willingly accommodated our requests. Overall, it was the perfect house for our bunch!

Breathtaking View & Amazing House

The view from this property was breathtaking!! To be able to sit inside in the living room, work in the kitchen or enjoy the cool breeze in the evening on the porch with this water view was amazing! The pool was the perfect size for our group. The kitchen was well stocked as we cook all our meals, so this is important to us. We loved having all the extras like beach bikes, paddle boards, a kayak and even pool floats. All of these extras enhanced our stay and kept all our young adult children entertained. Best of all the workout room was a welcomed surprise to all of us! So many in our group workout daily and having a room with a treadmill, elliptical, free weights and yoga mats met all our needs. This room was appreciated and much used during our week. Thank you and we look forward to booking again next year.

Our home is ideally situated for privacy. The home overlooks a rare coastal Dune Lake and the Gulf of Mexico. This is one of the few homes in Watersound that offers these unobstructed views. The walk to the beach takes about 8 minutes or drive the 4-person golf cart and reduce walk to less than 3 minutes. There are also 9 beach bikes provided for your convenience.
