We again apologize that you were unhappy with your stay. We take hosting very seriously and work very hard to ensure our guests have a great stay. This review is a bit surprising as we reacted swiftly to many complaints during your stay and at the end you asked to extend your stay but we couldn't as there was a guest right after you. As per our 3-way conversation with a VRBO representative before your arrival, he did tell you in the house rules it stated there is a property manager on site the entire time. We have been so blessed with amazing guests until your stay that there usually isn’t an issue in when I send the check in documents/house instructions. In the future I will send them sooner. In addition to that Tegra is mentioned in several reviews. Past guests have absolutely loved having her around on the property. Guests previously also have loved seeing us throughout their stay so they can ask questions, learn local info, get something taken care of etc. You expressed you did not want us on the property at all and that you would water the flowers. Which also had you email me to complain about the set up of our water system. Before your stay I went and found materials to block all windows from seeing any part of the yard. You agreed on the call before your arrival that it was acceptable. The Okanagan was experiencing interesting weather with a cold and wet June raising the pool water and then right into a heat wave that raised the temp of the water. Because you would not let us come to the property during your stay, I could not rectify this right away. When you finally let me on the property I spent 5 hours pumping water out and replacing it with cold water to try to make your stay the best possible. You responded that it was unsatisfactory, and I should go buy a bigger hose because it took too long to pump the water out. VRBO did ask us to clarify where the property manager was, and I did update that as per yours and their request. I had not noticed that there was hot tub selected so I have removed that also. We have hosted for years and will continue to work hard to provide guests a place to create memories and enjoy the okanagan
