Our listing very clearly shows that this is a two-story home and specifically states which rooms are located on each floor, so the layout is fully disclosed prior to booking. We also confirmed that the light above the stairs was not out and is working properly. The light simply needed to be turned on using its switch. The switches throughout the home are standard, functioning switches in normal locations; being unfamiliar with where a switch is located is, of course, different from a maintenance issue. We’re always happy to answer questions during a stay, and a quick message would have allowed us to point out the correct switch immediately. We encourage guests to review the listing details and photos before booking to ensure that the clearly described layout is a good fit for their needs.
