Great spot

Great 3 bedroom place! And great location! I would definitely stay here again. The home had everything you needed. We were about a 10 min drive to the village and about 3 min drive to grocery stores and restaurants/bars.

This place is very nicely done. From the large kitchen to silverware, plates, furniture, beds and LARGE tv. Just very comfortable and quiet, Which I really needed. I only was able to stay for one night, but got the vibe. Its close enough to every place you need to go but, also gives you privacy.

This place was VERY clean. Amenities worked well. Exept tv. Was very hard to figure out. Reached out to number left a message for help. Crickets!!! Communication with renter could have been better. Upstairs small room was not great. But over all it was clean. Balcony was in usable because there was zero furniture to sit and enjoy view. My hight rating was because of cleanliness..The price was super hight for one night because of thanksgiving holiday. Bit of a gouge.

We loved our stay

Jay was a great host. He helped us find our way into the property and was very responsive via text and phone. He was also extremely flexible as the entire region has been experiencing power outages and heightened fear as a result of the recent fires. Would certainly come back again. Thanks, Jay!

Cozy Mountain Retreat

This place was absolutely amazing, relaxing, and enjoyable for our family's getaway. Jay promptly responded to any questions we had, which was great. The vaulted ceilings in the open kitchen/family room were impressive, and the rooms were spacious with super comfy mattresses. If you are looking for a cozy mountain retreat, then we highly recommend booking this place. We certainly will book again!

Incredible clean + comfy

This was seriously one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at. I was seriously impressed with the cleanliness and beauty of the place. The communication with the property managers were amazing, they got back to us really quick. This place has amazing AC, which was huge for my family as we all run hot at night. It feels very new and updated and we had a lovely night making dinner and just relaxing after a long day of touring several potential wedding venues. Thank you so so much to Jay and the rest of the team for making this a perfect experience.

Ideal place for Lake Artowhead

This rental was a townhouse in a gated community. It was convenient to stores and the lake yet far enough away to feel serene and peaceful. It was beautiful and immaculate. Everything in it, especially the kitchen seemed new, not worn out. There was a gentle breeze from the forest through the sliding glass doors that were across the whole back and that opened to a deck. It was a winner!

The inside of the house is nice and remodeled but it’s in an old HOA that’s run down and deserted. Construction next door very early and late into evening with jackhammers. While the house itself is nice, the accommodations inside were just ok. Pantry not really stocked with basics. No oil, measuring cups, extra kitchen towels, no spices, napkins, or chairs to sit outside. Old popcorn kernels swept Into the corners of the kitchen floors. Front door would NOT lock with electronic lock. Tried to get a hold of property management and could not for over an hour. Had to climb out the window to be able to lock up the house! Not acceptable. Nicely remodeled but too many other issues.

To clarify, the construction next door is part of an ongoing improvement effort within the community, which unfortunately is outside our control but should be temporary. We’re also updating our kitchen inventory checklist to ensure all basic essentials—such as oil, spices, measuring cups, and towels—are consistently stocked. Additionally, our cleaning crew has been informed to follow stricter quality checks moving forward. Regarding the front door lock issue, we truly regret the delay in our response and the trouble it caused you. This has since been resolved, and we are reviewing our communication protocols to improve response times during urgent situations. We appreciate your honest review, as it helps us improve.
