This house is super cute! Great location, we walked to have a night out. Easy to find groceries. Nice amenities, other reviews mentioned that there were lots of surprising items available in the house, I agree (for instance a hair straightener and curling iron). I appreciate the black out shades in the master - I could sleep in, which is rare in a rental. Very happy with our stay.

Amazing place to stay

This had to be one of the nicest, cleanest, and coziest properties I've ever stayed at. Everything was so well stocked and tidy, really made the trip so much better. Betsy was extremely accommodating and I will definitely be staying here again.

Amazing Stay

Such a good stay! Betsy had all the basics laid out for us, and then some! If we forgot anything - the house had it. It also felt like home. A very comfortable stay, I wish I stayed longer!

Perfect Stay

My friends and I stayed here when we were in town for the Taylor Swift concert and it could not have gone smoother. The location is perfect—not in the middle of everything, but close enough to get anywhere without having to deal with crowds/traffic/etc. The house was clean and exactly as listed. We would definitely stay here again.

Comfy, cozy bungalow

We stayed here for the weekend with friends and the place is beautiful. Very clean, smelled like fresh flowers when we walked in because there were fresh flowers on the table, along with a little welcome package! Great location, safe neighborhood. Nice porch sitting. Plenty of room for four adults. Would definitely recommend! TY For a great experience!

We were in town for a football game, the house was great. Easy uber ride to the stadium and downtown. But great little area's close by for dinner & shopping. Betsy was great, and the little extra ammenities she has available really add a nice touch. We enjoyed our stay.

Great property

Property was very clean, really well decorated with a retro vibe, really cute. It's def an older house but well maintained. We were in the master with our own bathroom, the other two bedrooms shared a bathroom, typical for a house this age. If you're looking for a place close to the Plaza, Westport, even mid-town/Crossroads. this is a good one! And your own driveway that will hold 2 cars is a bonus. The host Betsy was very responsive when we had a quesion.

Darling House in Quaint Neighborhood

Our fabulous host rolled out the red carpet with a cozy vibe and snacks that came with a sweet thank-you card! We had three brave runners for the KC Marathon in our crew, and our host sent them good luck wishes, even checking in post-race to see if they had a blast! The host dished out some fab tips for munching, shopping, and must-see spots around town! Everything we could ever want was at our fingertips, and the house felt like a warm hug. The neighborhood was adorably quaint, and the house itself? Total charm overload! House & host definitely deserve a resounding thumbs up!

My Son, his Girlfriend, now wife to be, along with her parents came to Kansas City for Thanksgiving. I could not have asked for a better first time experience for their first visit to Kansas City.

Our house is set in quant, safe neighborhood. You will be blocks from amazing restaurants (Italian & Mexican food steps away) & coffee shops as well as KU Med. You can walk to the Antique shops in the West Plaza and drive downtown within 7 minutes.

o Featured on Guy Fieri’s Diner’s Drive-In & Dives
o 4 blocks away
o This food is delicious and if you are lucky you will meet owner Franco…he is like the mayor, if you talk soccer he will love you forever
o Fav dishes: Lasagna, Chicken & prosciutto tortellini and sausage & fennel ravoli
o And they have an unbelievable dessert case – also frozen/fresh pasta to take home

• Rudy’s (Mexican/sit down/very casusal…usually a wait on the weekends)
o 6 blocks away
o The Queso is delicious – (I am a queso connoisseur…just saying)
o Fajitas are pretty fantastic…so generous with the amount of meat
o But the family favorite is the tacos…like my 8yr old daughter could eat 3 of them and they are regular sized. They are just GOOD!

There is plenty of parking. Guests can park in the private driveway or on the street for free. This is a 90 year old house with so much charm; we can't wait for you to enjoy it just please respect it and be kind to our house! There is one camera on the front exterior of the house which is on the doorbell (it records video & voice). Parties are strictly prohibited, and all gatherings are limited to 8 people. If this rule is violated there will be a mandatory fine of $600 for violating the house rules.
