Thank you, our stay in New Orleans was great, and the home on Lafitte was so convenient. Ben & Karina's setup made it very easy. Private parking in the driveway. We were texted access code for easy entry made it hard to beat, 10 minutes from The French Quarter, and plenty of dining spots nearby.The house was ready with everything we needed, and 2 bedrooms gave us all the space we could want. Highly recommended.

Amazing and beautiful home!!! One side of a classic shotgun double with very high ceilings, original wood floors, open kitchen with island, and tastefully appointed with cool older furniture, some mid century modern, some older teak and very cool Asian rugs!!! Super chill space!!! Neighborhood is cool, smaller school across street. Whole Foods nearby. Short drive to City Park and other stuff. Karina is a GREAT HOST!!! Thank you!!! We will come back and stay here again.
City Park sculpture garden with our grandies. Sculpture garden is free! Great place to walk about. Can rent swan boats at lake or go inside the great museum there.

Roomy, comfortable, and quiet

My friend and I had a great stay at Karina‘s place – it was close to famiy we were visiting so very convenient though it helped to have a car. Parking was very easy—right in front. The apartment was very clean and had a nice backyard area for sitting in. There’s a lot of interesting art on the walls and lovely tall ceilings. The property is across the street from a school, which you would think would be noisy, but it was not.One of the beds is a Tempur-pedic and that’s a little soft for me but the other was a spring mattress and that one was the perfect firmness. I would definitely stay here again if I was traveling with a friend.

This home does NOT look like the photos. The towels are old and smell musty. The couches are very worn and the rug was dirty. The host was nice enough to let us store our luggage for 35 extra.

Check in was pretty easy minus some confusion on which side was ours. The place is spacious and about a ten minute drive to wherever you want to go. Parking is on the street and it fills quickly. We chose to stay in the back bedroom and the bed was pretty comfortable. We did find some hair throughout the house in the bedroom and the bathroom.The air conditioner resets so if you turn down the temp after a while it will go back up. We most definitely aren’t used to the heat so this was a little irritating.Overall it’s a cute place just a few setbacks. When we tried to leave for dinner the lock wouldn’t work (electronic lock no key) so we missed our uber and was charged a cancellation fee. We called to try and get it fixed but it was an issue on and off for our stay. We learned there was a trick to putting the code in a such by the time our trip ended.The host wasn’t available immediately to fix the issue but was apologetic.
