I grew up outside of Irvine and was excited to come back down to Kentucky (from Indiana) with my Husband, 2 adult daughters and 3 Grandsons (first time visitors) for my grandmothers 80th Birthday celebration. I scoured the internet for days to find the perfect cabin/home that represents my beautiful Kentucky when I found this whimsical home outside of Winchester tucked in the hills. It was private and cozy, We loved the decorative quilts and the farm theme while feeling we were in a cabin. There was plenty of room in the large yard for my 5 and 6 year old grandsons to play and run and my 13 year old grandson to mope. We had internet, television and all the modern comforts to keep everyone entertained while keeping the country feel. Plenty of sleeping spaces, 2 restrooms and a huge jacuzzi tub. Everything was extremely clean. My husband made a huge breakfast one morning and said he would have liked more cookware options but he made it work. The ovens, countertop stovetop and dishwasher worked. We used the gazebo with dining tables and a working propane grill (stocked with extra propane) We even had a vacation dog who visited and my grandsons loved her, my 6-year-old was terrified of dogs and she helped show him dogs can be nice. She was very sweet and we believe she snuck over from the farm next door but she does love belly rubs and never overstayed her welcome. There was even a carport at the end of the private lane to keep our vehicle. 5 stars
