Welcome to Rue de Lecat, a stone's throw from the Prefecture: a prime location for exploring Rouen on foot, at your own pace, through its narrow streets, terraces and pretty façades. Here, you can enjoy a pleasant contrast: the hustle and bustle of the city centre nearby... and, once the door is closed, a quiet cocoon where you can instantly relax.

As soon as you step outside, Rouen is at your feet: bakeries and everyday shops, cafés, good restaurants... In just a few minutes, you can reach the lively atmosphere of the Place du Vieux-Marché, perfect for dinner, a drink or simply a stroll. The historic centre is a joy to explore: cobbled streets, half-timbered houses, charming little squares... everything happens naturally, without cars.

Inside, the studio has been designed to make you feel at home right away: modern and tasteful décor, optimised space, warm atmosphere. The living room invites you to relax after a day of sightseeing, whether you're here for a weekend of discovery, a business trip or a romantic getaway.

The sleeping area guarantees a good night's sleep with a 140×190 cm double bed. In terms of amenities, everything is ready: a functional kitchen (toaster, Tassimo coffee machine, kettle, etc.), a space for remote working with an extra console, and everything you need for a hassle-free stay. The bathroom has a shower and toilet.

The neighbourhood offers good parking options: spaces are often available in the nearby streets, with paid parking areas just a stone's throw away (parking meter nearby) and free streets accessible within a few minutes' walk.

The accommodation is managed by the L'ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available from 10:00 to 12:30 and from 14:00 to 21:00. Please take care of the accommodation and respect the neighbourhood. A bank card imprint may be requested via a secure link in order to finalise the booking and obtain the access codes.

## Neighbourhood

Staying on Rue de Lecat means choosing an ultra-convenient location: you are opposite the Prefecture, a stone's throw from Rouen's major attractions, while remaining in a pleasant and well-connected area. Ideal for visiting Rouen on foot, going out in the evening, or coming for a business trip. A 5-minute walk from the Place du Vieux-Marché, you can discover the Halles du Vieux-Marché, the Jeanne d'Arc church, as well as the many food shops and restaurants located there. You can also visit the Rue du Gros Horloge and the Cathedral, and walk to the quays in 7 minutes, where the Docks are located and where the famous Armada de Rouen is taking place this year! There is also a laundrette 250 metres from the accommodation.

🛍️ Shops & everyday life
Around the accommodation, you will easily find everything you need to live ‘like a local’: bakeries, mini-markets, pharmacies and small shops in the city centre (convenient for both short and long stays).

## Transport

From Rue de Lecat, you can do everything on foot: the historic centre, Place du Vieux-Marché, restaurants, shops and museums are all within a few minutes' walk. If you prefer public transport, there are two stops nearby: ‘Vieux-Marché’ (line T4) about 350 m away (Boulevard des Belges) and ‘Revel’ (line 15) about 190 m away (Rue du Renard). The Astuce network makes it easy to get around Rouen and its surroundings; tickets are valid for 1 hour on the entire network, with transfers possible. The SNCF train station is about 1 km away, or a 15-minute walk, which is convenient if you are arriving by train. Finally, if you are coming by car, you will find paid parking spaces in the immediate vicinity (parking meter about 20 m away) and free parking on the streets about 300 m away.

Please note that the flat is located on the ground floor.

Arrivals are self-service for greater flexibility. They are from 4pm to 8pm and departures must be made by 11am at the latest.

Accommodation is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available 7 days a week (from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.). All our guests receive household linen, essential items for the first day (shampoo, shower gel, hand gel, toilet paper, etc.) and one large towel per person, along with tea towels and a bath mat per bathroom. A welcome kit with kitchen bin bags, bathroom bin bags, a sponge and washing-up liquid is provided free of charge on arrival for the duration of your stay.

We are committed to providing a pleasant experience, however, please note that we are not a hotel service. Mid-stay cleaning, linen/towel refreshment, replenishment of essential items, or delivery can be arranged on request at an additional cost.

When you confirm your stay, you will receive the ArchiDuchesse tourist booklet, our tips with promotional codes from our selected partners, and the arrival instructions for your accommodation.

La cour de l'Archiduchesse offers a range of services to make your stay as pleasant as possible: baby equipment hire, luggage storage, shuttle service, babysitting, gourmet boxes, tourist visit requests, event planning (marriage proposals, birthdays, themed rooms, etc.) and much more! When renting accommodation, it is important to follow a few rules to ensure that everything goes smoothly and to avoid any surprises with the deposit! Please treat the accommodation as if it were your own: avoid damage, respect the furniture and leave the premises clean when you leave. Follow the instructions regarding schedules and use of equipment, and respect the peace and quiet of the neighbourhood. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to let us know. Please note that parties are strictly prohibited (€100 will be deducted from the deposit), the accommodation is entirely non-smoking (€50 will be deducted from the deposit), pets are not allowed (€50 will be deducted from the deposit) unless requested and agreed in advance by us, and any loss, theft or damage will be charged at the actual replacement value.
