Take ski-in/ski-out to a whole new level at the Ski Classic Lodge. This expansive log vacation home is situated directly beside Peak 8 on Trygve’s green run, so you can put on your skis or snowboard and go, and ski home for lunch for the ideal skiing and snowboarding vacation. Summertime at the Ski Classic Lodge brings fun activities with a basketball court on-site, mountain biking, and hiking right from the doorstep, and the Peak 8 Fun Park featuring activities such as the Alpine Slide and Gold Runner Coaster nearby.
Ski Classic Lodge is a luxurious vacation home sure to accommodate a large family. This big-log-construction home has 7,142 square feet of mountain bliss, with an expansive deck facing the trees and ski run and a roomy floor plan throughout.
Floor-to-ceiling windows surround the gas fireplace in the great room with mountain views outside and a cozy ski lodge atmosphere inside, complete with an old-fashioned sleigh coffee table. The dining area behind the great room is perfect for large gatherings with a table that seats 10 and featuring an authentic 1967 Vail gondola car with seating for 4 kids. Or head out to the deck in Summer for al fresco dining or use the grilling area year-round.
The well equipped kitchen is around the corner to prepare the family meals with an induction cooktop, double ovens, plenty of counter space, and bar seating for four. An additional breakfast island seats four, perfect for kids or a quick bite. A laundry room is adjacent to the kitchen with an extra refrigerator.
The main level powder room sits off the kitchen alongside the ski room - the perfect place to store all your gear, with boot and glove dryers and access to the ski runs. Outside sits a custom ski-lift chair adding a unique touch on the way to the private 9-person hot tub – a perfect warm-up on a snowy afternoon or under a Colorado starry sky.
On the main level is the primary king suite with deck access, and a private bath with dual sinks, a soaking tub, and a walk-in shower. An office space with a queen sleeper sofa is nearby.
Two more king ensuite rooms are on the upper level along with a fun log bunk room with its own bath and a reading library loft above the great room that looks out to Peak 8. A separate wing on this top level has a wonderful family room with a wet bar, couch, TV, gas-log stove, and patio access. Nearby is a queen ensuite and in the loft area above is a cool kids’ room with four twin sleigh beds.
The lower level of this home is the perfect place to gather in the recreation room with a wet bar, high-top table seating, custom log billiard table, vintage video arcade games (Pac Man with 60 vintage games, Williams Defender plus 18 vintage games and Big Buck HD), Smart TV, sofa, gas fireplace, and deck access. Just when it couldn’t get any better, grab some popcorn and head over to the Warren Miller theater room with a 92-inch screen, DVD, surround sound, and theatre-style seating for a fun movie night.
On the lower level are 3 bedrooms, conveniently close to all the fun - a king suite with a private bath, as well as a queen room, and a bunkroom that share a bath.

Ski-in/ski-out access is subject to snow conditions and weather. Availability may vary depending on resort operations.
SHUTTLE
This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups. The use of the shuttle is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that the shuttle is not able to go up the driveway and will safely pick up guests at the street level.

Moving Mountains has a Guest Services Team, offering full-service vacation planning assistance prior to your trip. You will be assigned a dedicated specialist who will guide you through all the activities and services available. You will also have access to our online Guest Portal where you can find extensive details about your reservation, your residence, and guest services.

All Moving Mountains properties have WIFI and come fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher, and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, Nespresso, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances.
This home does not have air conditioning. Colorado's cool summer nights will keep this home comfortable by opening windows after the sun goes down, and then closing the windows and blinds during the day. Utilizing the overhead fans, if available, keeps airflow moving, and additional floor fans can be found in many bedroom closets. Can't live without it? A/C units may be available for rent for an additional fee.
