Incredible Vacation Home

From the start of the booking process to the final check-out - this home was one of the most beautiful we have ever stayed at. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a vacation in the mountains of Breckinridge. The homeowner had incredible communication and was there if we needed anything! Definitely a must - if you are looking for a 10/10 vacation rental!

SB Ski Trip

Three families in town for a SB ski trip. Property was perfect for 13 of us. Walked to and from slopes each day; back for apres ski in the hot tub.At night we loved the large round table where we could all gather together and laugh and tell stories of our day on the slopes.The massage chair probably provided the most laughs as it is not for the ticklish.We will definitely by back!

Top Notch

Peak 8 Platinum is an extraordinarily well-equipped property. This was the 2nd year in a row that our group of used the house as home base during a Breckenridge ski week. Easy walk to Peak 8 from the house. Pete is responsive to any issues we might encounter. Kitchen is super well-equipped. The large round table seats all 11 of us easily. Great experience two years running in this place.

We absolutely loved this house. The owner and property manager were great and responded quickly to questions or issues. The house is large and so very comfortable. It has so many very special amenities that my family loved.It had a hot tub, sauna, massage chair, pool table, movie room, really great! The only issue is that it is at least a 10 minute walk to the gondola so it was an issue with the kids and boots and skis. Also, it was snowing so hard, we could not wait on the bus at night. There were car services available at night. We took the free gondola to town durning the day but it closed at 5:00 p.m. I would definitely suggest that you need a car.

Perfect Home for Big Family Getaways

We had the most incredible experience staying at this VRBO vacation home for our first-ever family trip as adult siblings with our families. This home was absolutely perfect for us, as it allowed everyone to stay comfortably under one roof. Each bedroom had a king-size bed, so there were no complaints about bed sizes—everyone had plenty of space to relax. The layout of the home was fantastic, with plenty of room for the kids to play without disturbing the adults, which made for a stress-free stay.The poker table and massage chair were definite highlights of the week, offering fun and relaxation for all. We also loved the proximity to Peak 8 and the convenient gondola access to town—it made getting around so easy and enjoyable. Rob, the host, was a pleasure to work with—he was incredibly responsive to all of our questions and concerns before and during the trip, making the whole experience even smoother.This was, hands down, the best New Year’s ever, and we would absolutely book this home again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

Fantastic House!

Overall, this home was great! Pros: Overall, we had a great experience. Amazing location in Breck! Convenient access to everything. Outdoor spa, downstairs pool table, media room, MASSAGE CHAIR, and other amenities were fantastic! Cons: The kitchen was a little undersized considering the size of the home (one oven). The living room fireplace was broken during our stay. We spent a lot of time as a family in the living room area and with the Thanksgiving snow it was unfortunate to not be able to enjoy the fireplace all week. All in all - very minor things! Overall, great house and highly recommend!

This is a beautiful cabin, very well located walking distance to Lifts in Peak 8. We where a party of 16 friends. House is very spacious and has great areas to host a party of 16 adults in the cabin. We will definitely use this cabin again for this number of people

Peak 8 Sensation an incredible home

This home is beautiful and fit our multi-generational family and another couple with a baby with room to spare. They’ve thought of everything- a great re-arrangement of the garage as a place to gear up and gear down for the slopes each day. Extra touches like boot warmers, a super clean hot tub, sauna and a steam shower in the MBR are all incredible. This home has everything you would ever want or need. Nice location close to the base of Peak 8.

Breckenridge winter fun

Spacious and relaxed. So much room to spread out and very cozy areas to sit and read and play games together.Spectacular views of the mountain from the living room and kitchen. We loved the movie room but didn’t use it much because we had so much else to do! The hott tub apres skiing was a crowd pleaser as well as the massage chair where we all took turns and had a waitlist !! We really liked the mountain and diverse runs and bowls!! Perfect Place for a Large Group

This house has it all! It was the perfect Spring Break for us in Breckenridge! The young adults enjoyed the movie room, game room, puzzles and hot tub. The older adults enjoyed the master bedroom on the main floor, the large dining room table for family meals, and the poker table area. Everyone enjoyed the massage chair, netflix and internet access after a day on the slopes and having ample bathrooms and large comfortable beds to sleep in. The walk to the Gondola and the lifts at Peak 8 was around 6-8 minutes so it was super convenient. We used the Gondola for all our trips to main street, and road the bus system back to the house so we had no need for a car. The house was well stocked with towels, humidifiers, and all the basics plus more. My favorite moments in this house were in the morning, when the house was quiet, drinking my coffee looking up the mountain watching it snow. We would definitely stay here again!

This property was absolutely fantastic! 10/10 The rooms were large and clean and the beds/pillows were comfortable. All necessary amenities were included (shampoo, blow dryer, lotion, body wash etc). The hot tub was great and spacious. We had a question one day about the hot tub and management came out within hours to fix it. Very accommodating and incredibly easy to get in touch with. The kitchen was great and had everything a large group would need for cooking big meals. The location to town was very convenient as well, just a short bus ride or gondola ride. The only thing i will note is that it is not true " ski-in ski out". On powdery days for talented skiiers we could ski in. If you're boarding you cannot and if there is not a ton of snow on roads you can't ski in. The walk is about 300 yards to the bottom of peak 8 which wasn't too bad but just note there is a good walk which made coming in for lunch a bit of a hassle. Otherwise, this property was perfect and I would not only recommend it but would stay here again. Our group had a fantastic trip and the management at this location is one of the best i have had.

Very nice spot - walk for most though

The house is wonderful and very large and spacious. Plenty of room for our 3 families. Kitchen stocked with pots/pans and plenty of spices/extras. The basement/garage mudroom/ski room was awesome. You could leave all your stuff downstairs and it was dry in a couple hours. The multiple living/sitting areas made it easy to have adult and kid space, never feeling like you were on top of each other. A tip if you do stay here and have a big group - be sure to buy bagged ice. The ice machine could not keep up with our large group. Our only issues during the stay were 1. Definitely not ski in for boarders, and only good skiers in good conditions. Very narrow passage way through trees and deep snow to access the property...our kids would have never been able to make it. So just expect a 300 yard walk to/from the base for most, especially snowboarders. Stopping for lunch at the house with our group would have been inconvenient. Secondly, the hot tub during our stay was dirty when we arrived and got worse despite several attempts to get cleaned. Bit of a bummer since the hot tub is definitely a key amenity on a trip like this. Otherwise great trip.

First class home and location

This home was exceptional. We had 15 adults, singles and couples, celebrating a milestone birthday and found this property served every need and then some. First, the photos do not do it justice. There are so many areas the full group can gather but also enough corners to tuck away and have quiet time. We particularly loved: the round kitchen table, the massage chair, the master steam shower, the multi levels of access to the hot tub, the robes and slippers, the ski room(Rob – add photos of this room to the listing), The entire lower level! Great attention was paid to details for large groups – 3 refrigerators, multiple dishwashers, a semi-stocked kitchen pantry and plenty of towels and linens for all, the garage dedicated to snow gear(this was especially helpful to have when our rental gear was delivered and fitted. The property manager was very responsive for any need we had(extra garbage pick-up, driveway sand, etc.) and the owner was easy to work with in handling all the questions we had. We were quiet impressed with the welcome package of local tastes. The property is very close to the base of Peak 8, but it’s not for the feint of heart if you want to ski in. Feasible, but tricky. Only 3 of our group attempted it, but repeatedly ended our day skiing between the neighboring houses. The only recommendations I have – add photos featuring the ski gear room(big seller); add photos of the slopping driveway down to the garage – we struggled to push a 2 wheel drive car out – 4x4s had no problem; Add a few thermal carafes for extra pots of coffee. Owners from Connecticut, and family loves Colorado and Breckenridge in both Winter and Summer. Skiing is amazing, town is charming and fun, and the people are terrific. Works for Boost Oxygen, providing visitors to Altitude with extra oxygen to help them acclimate. Use it each time we come to Breck- enables us to enjoy first days at 10,000 feet.

For us, Breck and this house just checked every box. Accessible to Denver and Denver airport/before the Vail Pass which can close. Great skiing, lots of powder and varied terrain. Tons of Summer activities. We have large extended family, huge house makes it comfortable for us to invite all the aunts, uncles and cousins. LOCATION! Put boots on, walk to lifts, Ski back behind house. Peak 8 has earliest snowmaking and is epicenter for all skiing in Breck. On main busline, both up and down. Walk to gondola. FUN house- Great room spectacular, Mountain view awe-inspiring, hot tub, sauna, rec room, theater room, game room- everyone is smiling from start to finish. Tennis at recreation center, indoor pool with slides, ice skating, you name it.

'Wow' factor. Walked into the house, saw the waterfall and entered into the Great Room and just said "Wow". Kept saying 'Wow' with every room and amenity I saw. Sat in beautiful dining room with realtor and a beautiful huge Red Fox trotted down the hill in the woods right next to windows. Knew it would be the right place for my family and a source of many future happy memories.
