Your two-bed, two bath extra large private apartment in quiet neighborhood has a fully equipped kitchen with quartz countertops, dining, living room, family room, and washer and dryer in the unit. This space is priced for two people.
You'll have a designated parking spot just in front of your private entrance and porch. There is a TV with Fire stick streaming capabilities. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and the other has a double bed.

The huge fenced back yard is also yours to use, and shared with the residents in the other units. This is a pet friendly property, and the adjoining unit has two mix breads that have proven to be friendly to other animals and share the back yard space nicely.

This is a two-story unit with one bedroom, bathroom, and living room upstairs and the other bed, bath, and family room downstairs. This is a large two bedroom with some great features including multiple skylights, in-floor heating, Direct access to the fenced backyard from a back door, large deck with access off living room and new flooring and remodeled kitchen.

Self-check in with a lock box, so late check-in is not a problem. You'll be given the lock box code a few days prior to your arrival.

Check-in is at 4pm and check out is at 11am. We will offer you early check-in and late check-out options if it's available, a couple days before your arrival/departure for a fee of $50.

Sluice Box is conveniently located in the Mendenhall Valley 6 miles from the Juneau Ferry Terminal, 2.5 miles from the airport (25 min bus ride), 2 miles from the famous Mendenhall Glacier, 4.5 miles from the University of Alaska, and 10.5 miles from Downtown Juneau.

Pets are welcome upon approval for a fee. Please inquire about monthly pet fees. We want to offer pet friendly places and we want your business, but we want you to be happy. We strive to keep the properties clean and maintained for all guests, which this fee helps pay for. You'll be asked to rate the value of your experience, and If this fee creates a diminished value perception, then we hope you find another fabulous place for your party.

She offers 10% discount on all tours offered by the company, Alaska Travel Adventures, to her vacation rental guests. Easy check-in process – You'll be able to self-check in. Kelli will give you check-in details prior to arrival, including a lock box code. You'll be able to access the rental at your leisure after check-in time, at 4pm. We offer early check-in options, if it's available a couple days prior to your arrival for $25-$50, depending on your arrival time.

Great Communication – Kelli is known to be responsive to guests before, during, and after their stay. You can expect prompt responses to your questions.

Clean Accommodations – Your private apartment should be sparkling clean. If anything is awry, let us know immediately. We'll do our best to fix it!

Great Mendenhall Valley Location – Walk to the Mendenhall Glacier or take advantage of great pike paths and trails. It's close to many activities and amenities.
