One of Folly's Best! This 3 bed 2 bath elevated cottage is truly a beach lover's dream! Decks front and back plus an enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower provide perfect spots for taking in the sounds of the ocean which can be found right across the street. Spend your afternoons searching for shark's teeth and your evenings watching the sunset over the water. This location is perfect for anything beach-related you have in mind!

Inside you'll find bright, airy, surfer inspired decor throughout the home. It is equipped with full laundry, smart TVs, and enough space to accommodate up to 8 people. The updated modern kitchen is a real gem, perfect for whipping up a home-cooked meal to enjoy on the large farm-style dining table. With a King, 1 queen, 2 twins, and an additional queen sofa bed, this home has plenty of space for the family! Grill available for guest use. Please note: charcoal/propane and cleaning of grill is the responsibility of the guest.

Blue Moon allows 1 well behaved, house-broken, flea treated dog with approval. Please include the breed and size of your dog when you inquire.

Gorgeous home with a fabulous location

We loved staying here! There was plenty of parking, beach access across the street, and a lovely home with trendy decor! Check out was a little early at 10 am, but it was a great experience!

Nice home and location

The layout of the house was great! Nice sized kitchen with all that you need to prepare meals. The proximity to the beach was also a selling point! We would definitely stay here again!

Cutest house ever!

We have stayed at Folly through VRBO over ten times and I have to say that this was our favorite house. The layout is great and the decor is amazing. Plenty of parking and right across from the beach. Will definitely see if we can stay here again!

Super cute house right near the beach access. You can hear the ocean from the front porch. Great porches and outdoor shower.

Perfect Family Weekend!

We had a wonderful time celebrating our MUSC graduate…great table to gather and eat and play cards, great beach access, plenty af parking, nicely decorated and well stocked kitchen. Highly reccommend!

Perfect Beach Getaway

Blue Moon is a great house for small group across street from beach and walkable to town. House is very clean, well supplied with great decor. Outdoor patio and shower a bonus. Highly recommend and will be coming back for sure.

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed this property. The location was great, right across the street from the beach access. The house was very well stocked, plenty of nice pots, pans and utensils. The decor of the house was perfect and we really enjoyed the back deck. For me , most importantly the beds were comfortable. All in all a wonderful VRBO experience!

This cottage style bungalow made us smile from the moment we pulled in the drive and checked out each room. Everything we needed was already there and with a bit of flair. Appreciated the easy access to the beach and to the laid back small town.

Everything was gorgeous..all the orginal art work..to the kitchen. Close walk to beach..and close enough to walk to city center..if you have 20 mins.

Loved our stay at Blue Moon

We'll be back. Very easy check in process once I signed the paperwork and verified all ages and names of family members. Plenty of room in a clean and well-decorated beach house. The outdoor shower was a big hit, as was the front porch at happy hour. The back deck was a bit hot in the summer, and there was a small wasp problem to deal with. A bug killer or an outdoor fan would be great additions to the deck. Recommend this house for beach lovers with 2 to 4 kids in tow.

Every piece of furniture that I sat on was extremely uncomfortable except for the dining room chairs. Otherwise the home was very clean, showers did not have evidence of mold and the kitchen was well appointed.

A perfect beach cottage

If you are looking to get the full beach relaxation experience, this is the place. The house’s furnishings and appliance are high quality and it’s so comfortable that it feels like home instantly. The public beach access just across a mostly quiet road spills out onto a section of Folly that is usually quieter than that around the pier and mostly families. We enjoyed ample time outside of the house on its covered patio and outdoor grill, the front porch provides lots of sun exposure with the added benefit of protection from the wind. The .9 mile walk/ bike to eat at Rita’s and Taco Boy was easy and flat. The management company is very responsive and thoughtful!

So glad we booked this beach house

It was a quick beach trip but the Blue Moon was just what we needed. So clean and comfortable. All the amenities we needed (including beach towels, paper goods, toiletries etc) and easy, quick check in. Comfortable, attractive furnishings! Plenty of room for our family of 3 plus dog. Pup loved the back deck with the gate where he was contained but could still enjoy being outside (but the gate would not contain a small dog). While the cooler, windy weather didn’t cooperate with our plan to play in the surf the two days we had, the house had books and a few games to entertain us. We enjoyed the sunny front porch and covered back porch when we wanted to be in the shade. The bike rack under the deck was helpful. Great spot just across from beach access and quick bike ride or drive to everything on the island.

Perfect spot! Perfect house!

Loved the house and location. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach, the front porch in the evenings, and the back deck any time. An easy bike ride to downtown or to the state park at the tip of the island. The house is comfortably decorated — feels like home, only better!
