At the gateway to the Lauragais, between the Tarn, Aude and Haute-Garonne departments, La Sarrarié gîte makes it easy to explore an area rich in heritage and varied landscapes. Nearby, the lively market of Revel, known for its atmosphere and local produce, the Sorèze Abbey School and Lake Saint-Ferréol offer plenty of ideas for outings. The hills of the Montagne Noire are ideal for walking, as is the path running along the Rigole, at the source of the Canal du Midi. Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne are all within easy reach for day trips. The gîte is set in an independent house, close to the owner’s home, in a peaceful setting. On the ground floor, the living areas are well arranged: a fully equipped separate kitchen (filter coffee maker and Senseo machine), a living room with dining area and lounge centred around the fireplace, as well as a shower room and a separate toilet. Upstairs, the sleeping area includes: - One bedroom with a 140x190 cm double bed and a baby cot - One bedroom with two single beds A layout suitable for both children and adults. Outside, the enclosed private garden is ideal for enjoying sunny days. At the rear, a covered terrace provides a sheltered space for meals, while the lawn, with trees and flowers, creates a pleasant setting. A picnic table, barbecue, table tennis and sandpit are available. The gîte is equipped with air conditioning upstairs. An electric vehicle charging point is available, with usage billed according to consumption. A practical and comfortable house, well suited for both relaxing stays and exploring the surrounding area. The Revel market is a must-see, and the surrounding area has plenty more to discover
