This second-floor oceanfront condo has excellent ocean, beach, and pool views! The primary bedroom includes a king bed, a flatscreen TV, access to the private balcony, and an en-suite full bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The third bedroom has two twin beds, a flatscreen TV, and a private half bath. In the living room, you'll find a large flatscreen TV, a DVD player, and a sleeper sofa. The screened-in balcony is a great place to enjoy an al-fresco meal while taking in the fantastic views. Other amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, a full bath in the hall, a wet bar, a private washer and dryer, and free WiFi. Dunescape Villas community amenities include four oceanfront pools, elevators, and access to Bogue Sound.

Vacasa

Overall the property was okay. It was not clean upon arrival and we were not allowed into the property at the scheduled time. We rebooked the property for around the same time next year and paid half the rental price. I was informed yesterday that they were cancelling my reservation due to the owner wanting the property at that time and they provided “replacement” properties. The majority of these were one bedroom to replace our three bedroom. They refused to replace my rental with a compatible one even when I provided them several options. My family vacations together and they are now refusing to refund my mother’s deposit on her rental so we are able to find another place together. Vacasa requires multiple rental agreements but they will refuse to honor their end of their agreements. I will not be renting from them again and I would highly recommend no one else does either.

Reasonably Priced

This condo is reasonably priced, but not the best I've stayed in. I booked it because it was right beside a second unit that was available so that our family could be right together.

Property was nice but the pool wasn’t open the pool should open April 1st it’s warm enough in Nc for it to be open that early. Other then that every thing seemed to be good

Nice place

Great location. Pools are so nice and love being on beach. Only downfall was finding a place to park a third vehicle. A three bedroom condo that sleeps 8 with only two parking spots makes no sense.

Great place, would be better if...

This is a wonderful place to stay but it took us about 20 minutes to find out condo because the buildings are marked so poorly. There is a tiny plaque with house numbers in an obscure place. Even after you find that it's difficult to get to the correct number bc you have to go thru the fire doors but that isn't clear either. It looks like the numbers just stop. The coded entry was terrible when you actually get to your condo. It was so difficult to use and we wasted several hours one day locked out of our place. We saw one big big in the living room but a side from those things it was a nice place, well stocked, comfortable. (It definitely needs a new hand can opener though!) Good access to beach and pool.

Worked Out Ok

First impressions usually make or break a mind set. With that said our first impression was not good. The unit was much smaller than expected & compact the decor was real dated which gave a not so good feeling. We arrived just before office closing hours & we were extremely tired. Then we saw a dead (roach) which immediately freak us out. We didn't want to stay for fear of possible other critters... We got a return call from a person in another state far away. Nothing was going to happen that evening so we took a chance & stayed. Next day we planned on changing to another place. As it turned out the only places available had stairs which I couldn't do. This building had an elevator which was why I picked it in the first place do to handicap limitations. However, upon looking around we saw the place was very clean & No more evidence of critters so we settled in & made the best of things. All in all it worked. Not as luxurious as we have experienced, but ok. I paid a lot less & gotten a lot more in years past. Just sayin...

There are a lot of things that need to be fixed. Furniture needs cleaning and porch furniture needs new chairs and cushions. Pillows on beds felt sandy. No lights in refrigerator and the tvs didn’t work . Tv in bedroom would lose video but had audio. Tv living room wouldn’t come on. Had beautiful weather which made the trip good.

Great place

Location is perfect. It is so nice to be able to look out on the balcony to see the pool below and to see the beach. Having 2.5 bathrooms in a 3 bedroom condo was also great. The elevator was very helpful in getting up and down quickly. The grocery carts at the bottom were helpful in loading/ unloading all our stuff and for bringing in groceries. The beach was never that crowded and there was plenty of room at the pool. I would recommend this place to others.

Very good experience

Had a tough time with the outlets charging things at first. Also part of the flooring in the doorway to the hall of the bedrooms was coming up and stabbing the bottom of our feet when walking through.

Bring cleaner

Checking in was an easy process at rental office, parking off season was tight not sure how it would be on season. The apartment looks like the pictures but does not show how the couch looks like it needs a deep clean, table has paint splatters and scratches. The kitchen was gritty like it had some sand on it, there was sand in the bed prior to anyone getting into it, found a hair in the master bathroom but it did have a sanitized wrapper on it. When putting the comforter back on the back bedroom on our last day we noticed a stain on it. The bathroom door in the back bedroom also sticks. I did not call the office to have these issues fixed I just Re cleaned the apartment. On check out I spoke to the office and they said I should have called the office and they would have Re cleaned I agreed but then someone would have had to come do the sheets and clean the apartment while we waited. There was also only an emergency number and it was after 5pm, this did not seem like an emergency. The apartment did have a full kitchen, a good view and we enjoyed the screened in porch. So overall it was a good stay with friends and we hope this review informs the owner of the problems with the management of the property.
