Hi and thanks for comments, however I wish you would have called and I could have clarified all your points so your stay would have been more enjoyable. I will do it now the shower In the lower level does have hot water it just turns the opposite way but I would’ve been happy to tell you that if I had known you had that issue. The Kevin has two fireplaces one gas in the lower level and when electric on the main level. As with most electric fireplaces they have a flame reflected from the light however it also does produce heat I was just there today and you have to use the remote and adjust it with each level so it does produce heat. The cabin is easy to get to and you just pull in the driveway and then pull back out on the road and make a turn and loop back around to go out. Reviews and comments are mostly helpful, especially when they are honest and trustworthy. when this guest checked in, the shower worked fine in fact both showers worked fine. In fact the guest that just left the cabin on the same morning of this guest check-in , left an excellent review and loved it and stated nothing like this guest stated. These guests broke the same shower that they are complaining about. In fact they did not call until day 2 of their stay and we got right on it. A plumber came over to see what had been broken and found that it was broken by someone pulling on the shower head and busting it inside the wall. It was not like that when the last guest left nor when the cleaner cleaned the cabin in between these guests just prior to them arriving. As a result I told them not to use this shower until it's fixed but to use the big shower downstairs in which apparently they didn't know how to turn the handle the right way to get hot water because it works perfectly fine. The cabin is extremely clean I'm not sure what she's referring to but I have excellent cleaners which are also indicated in the prior reviews. This guest was very rude using very foul language when she initially called us which we didn't appreciate because we were trying to be helpful. This is generally a result of trying to cover up something that they broke which in this case I believe was true. The bottom line is the shower works just fine now and was properly repaired. There are 2 full size working showers and an additional jacuzzi tub upstairs. We never once ignored her phone calls and got right on whatever her complaint was about which in this case was only the broken shower on the main level. She did not mention a word about any of these other small items in which we will look into which are general maintenance tightening and replacing from use of a vacation rental on an ongoing basis. The cabin is very clean and we spend exceptional time going through that cabin making sure everything's covered from covid 19 cleaning requirements and then some. Thankfully most of my guests are very respectful and honest and can carry on an adult conversation if they need anything. We ensure that we take care of all our guests calls and needs if and when issues arise and we are made aware of. These minor items that were mentioned to us could have been remedied while the guests were out and about and the plumber was there, but if we are not made aware of the issues we can't take care of them. Common sense would indicate from prior reviews that our guests have always enjoyed this cabin.
