Enjoy the peacefulness of El Cortez on Mustang Island, just three miles south of Port Aransas. This two-bedroom ground-floor condo is nestled within the tropical landscape and offers all of the amenities of home. The open living room is made up of a loveseat, sofa, armchair, TV, and a sliding glass door to the back patio. The full kitchen is equipped with all the things needed to prepare a meal with Corian countertops, crisp white cabinets and stainless steel appliances, a regular drip coffee maker, dishes, basic pots, pans, and utensils. Sit down for meals at the dining table with seating for four and two additional stools at the breakfast bar. The master bedroom (BR1) contains a King bed, a chest for your beach attire, a closet, and a wall-mounted TV. The ensuite bathroom holds a vanity, tub/shower unit, and a stackable washer/dryer for your use during your stay. This room also has private access to the side patio. The guest bedroom (BR2) is made up of a Twin over Twin bunk bed, an additional Full bed, a couch, a dresser, and a TV. The ensuite bathroom consists of a vanity and a tub/ shower. Take in the ocean breeze while sitting out on the covered patio with your morning coffee or cold beverage. This complex offers a new golf cart-accessible boardwalk to the beach. After a day of fun at the beach, cool off in the shared pool, just steps away, or grill up snacks and dinner on the shared grills. El Cortez is just five minutes from Port Aransas offering a variety of restaurants, shops, nightlife, and fishing charters.

Cute condo

Tidy, well-appointed condo just right for a family of 4! We very much enjoyed our stay; everything was as advertised. Additional pluses are the convenient beach and pool access and responsive property management.

The Perfect Beach Condo

My family and I had a beautiful beach vacation and a big majority of it was being in such an amazing beachside home! It accommodated us perfectly and was such a clean, comfortable home away from home. We will absolutely be back!

Perfect Beach Getaway

This rental is decorated beautifully! My family and I slept comfortably, in the quiet and spacious rooms. We loved walking to the beach, via the boardwalk. And we loved the pool the gorgeous pool! It was the perfect beach getaway, thanks for sharing your lovely place.

Just what I wanted

Very clean, comfortable unit. It had everything that we wanted. The AC was fine but the tower fan in the master bedroom was a bonus! Will be rebooking soon.

Cute place, great location, but....roaches

Great location and nicely remodeled condo ~5 min walk to the beach. *Just* fit our family of 6 (2 adults + 4 kids). However, the condo smelled like weed when we first arrived, the a/c didn't work (this was resolved the first evening by a maintenance tech), tv remote batteries needed to be replaced, and there is a roach problem in the kitchen.

We saw two live roaches within our first 24 hours on the property, in addition to roach poop. Roach traps under the sink and next to the fridge had several dead roaches. Condo smelled terrible, perhaps due to the roaches.

Lovely place

We enjoyed our stay in this quiet neighborhood. The location was right by the pool. There was plenty of parking. Make sure you take pods for the kuerig or you will have to buy pods or a coffee maker. The fully stocked kitchen of dishes and silverware made mealtimes easy. The dishwasher made Easy work of the dishes. The ice maker was a nice surprise and came in handy for our outings. There are only 2 things I can suggest for future changes only one of which the owners can control. 1. The couch and loveseat were not very comfortable and sagged into the middle, changing them would make things more comfortable. 2. Adequate signage marking the neighborhood would make it easier to locate, my gps placed me between two neighborhoods. Overall, I rate this place with 5 stars.

Great Vacation Get Away

Our family loved this cute apartment! It was in a good area not too far away from town which we personally loved because the beach wasn’t over crowded. The house was very clean and felt “homey”. There are some extra perks we weren’t aware of that I know each family would truly enjoy. In the kids room closet they had TONS of beach toys and 2 beach chairs which was so nice and convenient! Basically a fully stocked kitchen aside from seasonings if you wanted them for any type of cooking out. A nice movie selection, & games like phase 10, skipbo, UNO, Yahtzee, puzzles, sorry, etc… We really only have one complaint & I can’t even drop it a star because it’s truly just a matter of preference. The king size master bed was very hard. Like so hard your body doesn’t sink into it even the tiniest bit. The rug on the floor was softer than the mattress. An egg crate or memory foam on top would do wonders for those who prefer a soft mattress. AC worked AWESOME! Washer and dryers were very nice to have as well. Renting a golf cart is the way to go! It makes for a quick trip to the beach and back! All in all we would 100% stay here again, but bring padding for the bed. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

Beach Get A Way

We had a lovely time staying in this unit. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable! The air-conditioning works well as to all the appliances. Walkable to the beach no problem. Only reason not giving every category a five out of five is because I feel like many of the pots need replacing as they are super scratched up and nonstick and is a safety concern for me. Also, the quality of towels is like sandpaper and there are no beach towels. Overall very happy with our stay for a family weekend away!

Great stay

We were able to get a last minute reservation at a reasonable price even though it was during Sanfest. Great place close enough to town for convenience but far enough out to get away from the crowds.
