This is an attractive house in a good location. The master suite is nice, the (small) pool is heated, we enjoyed the couch with reclining seats, and we took walks in the lovely subdivision across the (relatively busy) street.
But I’m afraid that’s where the positives end. Please know that we have stayed in dozens of vacation rentals and have many points of comparison. We signed up for this place based on four positive reviews. We offer this detailed review to provide a more accurate picture.
Compared with previous vacation rentals, this is one of the first we’ve stayed at that did NOT have:
--Cable TV and/or access to local/national broadcast programs. We were stuck with Roku streaming on a relatively small TV with dangling wires that was attached to the wall—which meant we had no access to its HDMI ports.
--A gas grill. Only an old, ash-filled, uncovered charcoal grill that we chose not to use.
--Adequate supplies. We were given one dishwasher pellet. One laundry pellet. Extremely limited paper and soap supplies. We ended up going to the store for countless household items.
There were missing remote controls, lights/fans that didn’t work, door/drawers that didn’t close, curtains/blinds that didn’t adequately cover windows. The guest bedrooms are small and would require couples to sleep in separate beds (or share a small double bed). And why is there a WINDOWED door on one of the bedrooms?
I could go on, but this is a rental in need of serious updating.
