We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and clean. The check in and out was super easy. We had a little issue but the property manager Brian did his best to fix it. When he could not Melanie was on it. She even offered us another rental. It wasn't that big of a deal. We chose to stay where we were. We loved the house. They had it fixed as soon as they could. It wasn't anything that was a deal breaker by any means. It was just the hot tub not heating up. I would definitely stay there again. If you haven't stayed there you are missing out.

Spring Training!

The house was awesome. Pool and spa was a hit with the kids! Close to everything! Only one minor detail house across the canal )not directly across but to the right) played loud music all night for two nights in a row. Luckily the house was pretty sound proof but kids still bothered by it! But don’t let that stop you from staying. The house is awesome as my grandkids put it! Thank you!!

Immaculate, private paradise!

We had an exceptional stay here. We got very lucky with absolutely perfect weather, but even if it rained everyday, the place would have been wonderful. The house is immaculately maintained. The lanai, pool and hot tub were luxurious and we would have been happy to stay there, with a view of the canal and the sound of rustling palm trees, for the entire week. We did venture out a flew times. It was a little over an hour drive to Manasota Key, which was beautiful. I think Sanibel Island would have been a little closer. There’s also a small river beach at the Yacht Club (about 30 mins from the place) but unfortunately the fishing pier was destroyed. My husband did some fishing from the dock ant the house and caught a small bass, and got a gar down the block. We found a bike path just west of the house and rode that for about 4 miles. We had a nice riverfront lunch at Monarca’s (approx 30 minute drive from the place). There is not a ton to do in the immediate vicinity, but honestly you don’t need to leave the house!!

Wonderful House!

This house was amazing for our family! We have 3 little kids and the house was great for our family! The pool and hot tub were great- the kids absolutely loved it. The house had both pool toys and beach toys that we could use during our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely. The house is even better than the pictures shown! The host was very prompt with responding to our messages and answering our questions. I would highly recommend this house for families, especially with little kids. Thank you for making our trip to Florida amazing!

Beautiful home exactly as pictured

This home is beautiful and exactly as pictured. It is in a quiet neighborhood without no immediate neighbors at this time. It was private and our family enjoyed relaxing by the pool/hot tub each night. The patio by the canal is great for fishing, my son caught a few bass. The house is modern and comfortable. Location ideal for us as we went to Busch Gardens one day and then enjoyed the beach/gulf the other days. Definitely would recommend.

Amazing home and amazing management!

This was our third time renting a home through VRBO In Cape Coral and by far the best! 1) A+: Communication with the owner and her property manager. They were unbelievably responsive to our every question or need. For example, the dryer wasn’t heating properly and Brian (property manager) came over that very day with a different dryer! Melanie (owner) and Brian made it clear to us that they wanted to fulfill whatever we needed. 2) A+: The home and pool area were immaculate. 3) A+: The furnishings were spot on. We really appreciated that it wasn’t cluttered with excessive decor. The furnishings were in wonderful condition, taste, and cleanliness. We casually mentioned that different and more chaise lounges on the pool deck would be nice and voila! 4 lovely new chaise lounges were delivered. Bottom line-we were provided with a great vacation home, thanks to Melanie, Brian, and Zoe and have reserved it for 5 weeks next year.

Stunning!

We traveled from Michigan to stay at this GORGEOUS home on a beautiful canal, perfect for fishing! Our family of six had plenty of room here. We chose this area to vacation because it was centrally located to so many different beaches. We chose this home because it had so many wonderful reviews. We have rented houses in FL from VRBO before, but this house is by far the BEST house yet! It is fully equipped for cooking up any kind of dinner you want. The beautiful and very large dining room table was very nice to eat at with everyone without being cramped. The garage held everything you need for the beach, which included sand toys for the kids, beach chairs, beach umbrella and a cooler. There are also bikes with helmets (we did not use them). Also, a couple of fishing poles (we bought our own and took them home with us). We LOVED fishing on the canal! There are A LOT of turtles that want your bait and they will watch where you cast and follow your line so be careful not to snag one! The neighbors across the canal are very friendly and can offer up some good advice on catching fish. We spotted an otter, a snake and only once there was an alligator that we could see. We did catch a garfish and that was very exciting for the kids. The pool is where we spent most of our time. The spa heats up very quickly! We all enjoyed it! Brian, who takes care of the house, was also very friendly and informative with all of our questions. He had to come over and turn the pool and spa on for us. He lives right around the corner. Texting him seemed to be the best way to communicate. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. I am sure we will be back! A couple of recommendations if you're not from familiar with the area: Shelling at Sanibel Island (breathtaking beach) the tide is low when there is a new moon. We just happened to be there during a new moon and we had a wonderful experience! Take bug spray when the tide is low, your legs will get bitten by the tiny flies. I'm still not sure what they were but they itch the next day! Bonita Beach is absolutely gorgeous! We went in July and it was not over crowded at all. Nice soft sand! Spectacular! Banana Bay Dolphin Tour- J.R. Is an amazing captain and you can tell that he loves his job! Very informative and patient if you have children. You WILL see dolphins!! You will have a wonderful time at these places if you love the scenery and enjoy the sound of children having fun :) Tiffany and Brian

Very nice property and very well kept

Very nice property and very well kept and clean. The house was bigger than expected, pool area was just right, and Melanie was quick to respond to any questions I had. She even had everything we needed for the beach in the garage (beach cart, chairs, boogie boards, toys, umbrella, pool toys, adult and children’s bikes). I would definitely stay again and recommend to others

Baseball Week in Fort Myers

Great week in Cape Coral watching baseball across the bridge in Fort Myers. “Sun & Fun” was a great place to stay. The house was fantastic and the pool was even better!! Quiet neighborhood with everything we wanted within a short drive. Would definitely rent again!

Very Disappointed

Let me begin by saying I have never given a negative review in my life. I have used VRBO for years and have always told others with VRBO I get exactly what I paid for. Unfortunately in this case I did not get what I paid for. The house itself is very nice. The property management was responsive to our needs. The problem is that the house is furnished with very cheap furniture and supplies are sparse. I had to go out and buy basic things like cooking implements and dish towels and wash cloths. The furniture from sofas to especially the beds are cheap and very uncomfortable. We had a 30 day stay and found the experience very frustrating. As I said I feel like I DID NOT get what I paid for Again I am a long term VRBO customer and have never before given a negative review. The only saving grace to this house is the pool I do have to say the pool temperature was perfect our entire stay. Thank you for the opportunity to express my dissatisfaction

Relaxing

We enjoyed our stay. We took advantage of the pool and whirlpool! Very relaxing environment. The only thing I would suggest is having mirrors in a couple bedrooms near outlets, so some can get ready while others are in the bathroom. Especially if there's a large group staying there. Even though there's 2 bathrooms. One being in the Master bedroom, if the bedroom is occupied, you've got 3 other bedrooms sharing one bathroom.

Beautiful Property!

The house was beautiful, spacious and very clean and looks exactly like the pictures. The location on the canal is really pretty- it was very quiet, and the view is serene and calming - the patio by the canal was my favorite part of the property, although the lounge chairs are cracked and worn and could use replacement. The hot tub takes quite a while to heat up and never got really hot, and the heated pool was on the cooler side, but that might be a plus depending on a person’s preference. We all enjoyed our stay, and I would definitely recommend this property.

Very nice homes with spacious rooms

We enjoyed our stay here. The home was clean inside and outside. Well kept. The pool area was very nice and lots of room under the covered patio space. Plenty of bath towels and pool towels were provided. Kitchen had almost all the necessities you would need. Instructions on counter were a plus. Loved seeing the wildlife outside. Some bunnies roamed free and we had a burrowing owl sit on the front window above the doorway all day! The only thing that I didn’t care for was the numerous 4 way stops throughout the neighborhood to get to the home. Traffic is terrible in and around Cape Coral trying to get to Ft Myers Beach, but that is pretty much everywhere in our state :) Thanks for a pleasant stay!

The house overall was good, clean. Love the pool area. Internet connection was very slow. Something not too welcoming was the signs everywhere, indicating the rules about the use and the penalties for everything, even for the kitchen mugs. Too many restrictions.

Second time renting this property; absolutely love it. The pool and hot tub are perfect! Quiet neighborhood. The canal is interesting to watch. We saw turtles, fish, and lots of birds.

Ideal family rental

We enjoyed our stay. House was clean and well kept. Neighborhood was pretty quiet, and a reasonable drive to points around the Ft Meyers/Cape Coral area. Note: the pool does have a child fence, and a high latch on the patio door, which gave us some piece of mind. We would rent this property again.

Six week stay

We enjoyed this property very much. We have stayed in Cape Coral three other times and this home really hit all the boxes. The house was super clean. The pool and hot tub were great-the temps were perfect and the pool was a nice size. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were good. We used the kitchen a lot and it had everything we needed. The couches were comfy. Melanie was very responsive. We would definitely rent this property again.

This home is very functional for families! We love that it has two separate living rooms where the kids can watch one tv and the adults the other. The heated pool and spa is enormous and the home is very private.

This home is very private yet has easy access to everything you want to do. The pool is very expansive and much larger than most. The sun shines all day on the pool and the home has plenty of space!
