Forest Moon Cottage is your new luxury home away from home. This newly remodeled 2-bedroom cottage is nestled in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to enjoy all that Big Bear has to offer. Enjoy the latest in modern conveniences with a splash of color and cool vibes. Complete with fireplace, modern appliances, private work space and lots of extra personal touches, this place is perfect for a romantic getaway, a friend’s gathering or your family vacation!
Our cozy cottage is located on the west side of Big Bear City within a short drive to Bear Mountain Resort, Snow Summit Resort, Alpine Snow play, GoKarts, popular restaurants and of course, the lake!
Accommodations include a master bedroom with a queen size bed, a sofa and a desk to do a bit of work. The second bedroom has a queen size bed as well, a work station and a swing to relax and read a book. There is a modern bathroom in the hallway with a tub and shower.
The kitchen is fully stocked with new appliances including a gas stove, microwave, stainless steel refrigerator, Keurig coffee machine, basic spices, pots, pans, and all the dishes and baking wear for your stay. Kick back and enjoy a glass of wine after a long day spent exploring or use our cocktail set to shake and stir up something nice.
The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen. The living room boasts a 70 inch smart TV with streaming capabilities, and a comfortable pull out sleeper sofa in case you have additional guests. A record player is available to spin a few good tracks.
There is also a patio and fenced backyard for those starry nights spent outside enjoying the mountain air. We are working hard to get the hot tub up and running, please inquire if available prior to booking.
No need to bring any towels or bedding, we provide bed and bath linens and limited toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and a hair dryer in the bathroom. The mud room has a washer and dryer for guest use and a convenient spot to hang your board, boots and wet coats.

Our guests at “Forest Moon” Cottage have full access to the entire property with the exception of the garage in the back. Parking is permitted on the driveway for up to a maximum of 3 vehicles. Please do not park on any of the areas off the main driveway. We ask that you consider our neighbors and do not park on the street in front of their properties. Streets must be clear during the winter season for snow removal and parking is prohibited. We do provide snow clearing service if there is a snow event on the day of your check in. Please keep in mind that it may be up to 24hrs for snow removal to get to the property as they are serving multiple properties. We will provide a snow shovel for snow removal if you need it cleared sooner.
After your request is accepted on the booking platform, you will be required to provide us with your personal email address so we can send you our rental agreement that you will need to sign prior to arriving at the cottage. The rental agreement has the same house rules as on the booking platform.
