Beautiful location

The location was perfect! Beautiful beach views and super easy beach access. The property itself could use a little updating (eg., some broken porch furniture, sliding doors were very hard to open and close).

We are not hard to please. We always pick a different house each year that is oceanfront and this house was perfect for our family of 5. We loved the layout and coziness. The house was also very clean upon arrival. There is a bathroom sink that doesn’t drain well, but other than that, no complaints!

Best of two worlds

In terms of the property location, we couldn’t have asked for better. One of us needed the outside freedom to walk on the beach our scoot out for the sunset while the other was decompressing from being outside and a phone constantly ringing. We caught a few afternoon naps and I did a little sewing on the covered porch.

Beach fun

We enjoyed our stay at the beach. It’s was a needed r and r. The island is beautiful and a lot of nice homes being built there. There were a few things that needed upgrading. Both bathtub fixtures needed to be replaced. Some of the cooking utensils needed to be replaced. Otherwise a great week.

TERRIBLE

This property is falling apart! Very very dirty, broken porch railings, broken outdoor side table, dishwasher is falling out of the cabinet, broken toilet seat, food left in pans in the cabinet! Visible mold in the bathtubs and growing on the walls! There were not enough blankets and they were dirty. We had to wash them all. One of the bedrooms the curtain rods fell down multiple times. The blinds do not block the light outside at night. The sliding doors were very hard to open/got stuck. The mattresses were either hard as rock or sank to the middle. I gave it 1 star because it was on the beach. And the washer and dryer worked well/were newer. All in all we would never stay there again!

R&R Time

Enjoyed our week at 1 Blue Oasis! Location and access to the beach were perfect. As older people the kitchen chairs were heavy and awkward to pull out. We understand the need for durability it just wasn't easy to use the chairs. The bedroom mini blinds need to be higher quality to shield the neighbors porch light. Actually just get better quality mini blinds for the bathroom and bedrooms. Toaster didn't have the crumb tray and management quickly brought another to replace it. The young man also solved our no hot water issue which we were very thankful for. The process to check in was confusing as we thought this was a Vbro but all the details sounded like a regular beach house rental. The need to download an app was frustrating as we were on our way and internet was spotty at times. Definitely considering returning next fall to celebrate our retirement!

Great location, easy beach access, interior needs some work

Overall the property management team, better beach rentals were very helpful and took care of our concerns. As I mentioned, the location is great- easy to access beach. However, the interior house needs some work. The couch cushions were mismatched and old as the hills. We didn’t even want to sit on the cushions. The trundle bed was so loose. I thought it was going to fall apart when I turned over. There was not a single blanket to be found in the house. The coverlets on the twin beds were sized for a toddler bed - so useless as a bed covering … and we found no blankets to substitute. Three of the chairs on the deck were broken - the property Mgmt maintenance person came and repaired at our request. The shower curtain was only held up by 3 or 4 rings - cleaning came and repaired. The HVAC filter covering was filthy. We had to shake all the rugs when we got there to get rid of sand. The blender was broken - we had to request a new one. So, overall, not a great house. We knew that the house was smaller than many we looked at - size wasn’t the issue. It just hasn’t been maintained well. Would not recommend this house.

Really nice place

House was as advertised, very clean. Loved the separation of the bedrooms. View and beach access was awesome Only negative is need rubber straps in tubs, they were very slippery and some more storage in bathroom/ bedrooms to put stuff.

Perfect ocean front

This was absolutely perfect for our family. It sits right on the beach so you can enjoy the ocean views and beach all day long. The room setup was perfect 2 bedrooms on each side of the home with a bathroom between them gave each family thier own space. Would definitely rent this property again.
