Private Bayside Property -- With Private Fishing/Boating Pier/Remote Office

The big water view and private pier make this the perfect get-away for anyone who loves to fish, kayak, paddle board, boat, or watch dolphins. This property is one block from the exciting shops and restaurants of Bridge Street and the Bradenton Beach Pier, yet nestled away from the noise and traffic on a quiet no-traffic street. New landscaping compliments your incredible water access. A home office with high-speed wireless, 55" LCD panel and extra seating let's you get in some work while you play. And an enclosed laundry room with new washer/dryer (2024) helps you clean up in comfort.

This is not a shared property; you have exclusive use of the entire property and pier.

The upper unit has all new furniture, bedding, linens, flat-screen televisions, refrigerator, microwave and a 1 Gbit/s high-speed internet connection for those looking to telework in a warm and welcoming climate. We (the owners) can confirm great connectivity with national services like Amazon Workspaces, Microsoft Azure and other cloud-based environments. Or better yet - tell your boss the internet was broken and you couldn't work on vacation. We won't tell!

You will have a two-minute walk to the historic Bridge Street pier and entertainment district. Enjoy nightly live music, drinks, shopping and people watching or fish off the public pier any time without a license.

Our private pier is great for fishing. We have pulled keeper grouper, snapper, mullet, trout, snook and redfish in our pajamas. If you cast net, you can score bait for offshore trip or even pull some mullet for dinner - our ten-year-old can score 4-5 large mullet in one throw of a net. Send us pictures of you doing even better!

Our pier will accommodate large boats up to 40 foot, in water that is more than 4-5 foot at low tide, with a 4-corner tie-up. This can save you hundreds - or even a thousand - per week in marina fees. Our street is adjacent to a public marina, which means - unlike every other stretch of Bay water in Bradenton Beach - you will have access to a deep channel and the ICW without risk of getting grounded. There are only 7 such properties in Bradenton Beach, and you will have exclusive use of one. Our parking can accommodate trailers up to 40'.

Great Thanksgiving weekend. 2 adults. We arrived on our boat. Boaters: As you get ready to approach house, Ensure you stay in channel (red on starboard, green on port). The Bradenton Beach pier will be on your port side. Docking was very easy with lots of room for large vessels. We have a 26 ft center console. There was much more room to accommodate bigger boat. Even at low tide, no concerns with water depth. There is an extra large water hose on the side of the house that will reach the boat to flush engines and wash down boat. The property is exactly as pictured and described. Super cute beachy decorations and very comfortable and clean. There is both a k cup and drip coffee makers and all kitchen utensils you may need. The unit is on 2nd floor with views of the bay. Watched the sunrise. Beautiful! We rented a golf cart from Coconuts Golf Rental. We booked golf cart online and it was delivered and waiting for us when we arrived. Coconuts also picked up cart when we left. No extra fee for delivery/pick up. It was a great way to see the entire 7 mile Anna Maria Island, Holmes Bch, & Bradenton Beach. The house is a few minutes walk to Bridge Street (shops, restaurants, bars, pier). The beach is also a few minutes walk from house. House is on a perfect location. We ate at the Beach House waterfront restaurant on the gulf (great place to see the sunset); Anna Maria Oyster House (great food); and indulged on desserts on Anna Maria Island/Pine Ave.We would definitely stay again

The home was clean and in a good location. There was a street fair going on and we were far enough from the noise. The weather was perfect. Overcast and not hot at all. We were close to just about everything. The location is fabulous. The surrounding homes are updated and much nicer. Taken care of properly. The unit we had was on the second floor and seems very uneven. Floors are cracking and lifting. I tripped a couple times on lifted tiles. Most of the view photos online are not taken from the unit we stayed in. Thought we were getting a ground unit facing the water. This was the first VERBO home we stayed in without complimentary soap and shampoo so we needed to make a store run. We bought extra and left under the sink in master bath for the next renters. There's a boat and a broke down golf cart out front. The end of the dock is broken and ropped off and the water wall is falling down but being held up by large pieces of wood. Home is in need of many repairs.

Perfect location

This is the perfect location on Anna Maria Island. On the Bay to watch the pelicans, egrets and other birds, the boats traveling by, gorgeous sunrises. Easy walking distance-even with recent knee surgery—to a nice white, sandy beach. Also an easy walk to Bridge Street shops and restaurants. A few glitches due to damage caused by Hurricane Milton and Helene—permanent fix to internet and power while we were there, but our host kept us up to date and communicated all the way through. Even though the dock hadn’t been completely repaired after the hurricane damage, there were still fish to be caught. Cottage was well provisioned, washer and dryer were clean and easy to use, new bbq delivered shortly after we arrived, comfortable outdoor furniture to sit by the bay and watch the boats. One highlight was watching the drawbridge going up for some of the taller boats
gorgeous sailboats, commercial fishing boats, yachts, sportfishing boats, barges, all the pretty boats. We loved our month in Bradenton Beach at the cottage!

Bayside waterfront

We needed a short term rental on AMI. Found this little gem on VRBO. It’s directly on the bay. Great location. It’s a bit different when you get inside but very cool. They have it set up nicely. A couple things to watch out for. If you don’t like stairs this isn’t the place for you. Master shower takes some maneuvering to get in and out of. Besides that it was good.

Fish, eat, sleep, repeat

We had a wonderful stay on Bayside. The owners are incredible. We came in the day before Tropical Storm Debby and they made sure we stayed safe and were very accommodating when we felt we needed to leave the property until water levels went down. The house is very quaint and had everything we needed. Our son loved having the dock in his backyard and fished morning & night. He caught a lot of catfish,pin fish, mangrove snapper, toad fish and a blue crab!

This location is great! Quick walk to the beach and all the restaurants/shops on Bridge Street. Being able to sit outside near/on the dock was fantastic. We saw manatees almost every day! The kitchen is a bit small but we ate out most meals so didn’t really need a large kitchen for cooking.

There are few places on the island with this kind of direct water access. It's close to The Bridge Street Market/Entertainment District, but just far enough to be quiet. We're on a dead-end road, with no through traffic. You can lounge in sun, fish off our pier, walk to the Gulf Beaches, eat, drink and generally chill. We love it and hope you will, too.

The Boat pier/dock is great for fishing and boating. We have four posts at the end of the pier, with low-tide water draft of more than 4-5 foot. You can park a big center console or pontoon our here; the dock length is about 43 foot and has a 120v/15A power outlet.
