My family of two adults and two children enjoyed our 11 day stay in this unit. The host was easily reachable through text messages and they checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The building itself appears to be on the older side but the grounds and common areas are very well kept. The condo was comfortable and offered the things we needed during our stay. The window ac units kept the spaces cool and comfortable. We were able to get up early and open the patio door to enjoy the sound of the waves and the nice temps. The pool was larger than we expected and the very short walk to the beach was amazing. My kids enjoyed the outdoor games that were available to borrow and spent most of their time in the ocean/pool. The quiet hours were great from 10-8 which allowed us to go to sleep easily and have peaceful mornings. We used the bbqs that are on the property twice. They were clean and well kept. Having a washer and dryer was a major plus for this long of a stay.Overall, we enjoyed our trip very much and would stay again!

Great location! My kids loved the pool and hot tub and it was awesome to be able to rent a paddle board and go straight to the beach at the condos and we found multiple sea turtles while paddle boarding. So convenient and had everything we needed for ocean adventures at a reasonable price.

Great stay!

Location was perfect and the condo was great. It was clean, had everything we needed, is close to shopping, and the views were simply stunning. If we go back to the island anytime soon, we'll stay here again. Everything was as advertised and wonderful for a family of four.

The location of the property was great. Centrally located to all we wanted to see and do. The unit itself was a little worse for the wear. Some chipping paint on trim/doors and the upholstered barstools need a good cleaning. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. Kitchen was fairly well equipped, but could use more storage containers. Don’t be fooled by the name “Maui Sunset”. You will NOT see the sunset from the property. It is blocked by the downslope of a volcano. The pool and hot tub were great. So clean and perfect temperature. We only wish there had been a snack bar poolside. The beach is small and tends to get windy in the afternoon. Just a short walk (maybe a quarter mile) down the beach to the left, you can see green sea turtles every evening. They start coming in about 7:30 or so. There are pickleball courts a 3 minute walk away. You can get in on pick-up games every morning. Very welcoming group of people! All things considered, we would stay here again.

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the view and amenities more than we could have expected. While there was a minor issue with check-in (code didn’t work), it was resolved quickly and kindly when we called the reservation number. We would definitely stay here again!

The perfect spot

We've been to Kihei many times though this was our first stay at the Maui Sunset. The property is beautiful and well maintained, the condo has a great view overlooking the pool area with the ocean beyond. Beds are very comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. Overall, a great place to stay and we will definitely return.

Maui Holiday Family getaway

The property was a nice size for a family with two young adult children. The condo was centrally located in Kihei near shopping, restaurants and beaches. The pool area was nice and the view from the unit was beautiful.
