I'm so glad you had an excellent stay, and I'm especially delighted that you found the cottage to be even better in person than in the photos! We really want our guests to arrive at the Good Life and say, “Wow, this is really nice!”—and immediately see how much we care about making their stay easy, comfortable, and special. As for the pool situation, our community is typically very peaceful, with wonderful guests and neighbors. Every once in a while, though, someone needs a little reminder about the community rules. When our guests let us know about something like this during their stay, we’re happy to contact the board right away. The board quickly sends a friendly reminder to all owners to make sure their guests are following the rules, and these situations are resolved quickly so that our gem of a community can be a peaceful haven for all guests. Again, we're happy that you had an excellent stay. and we’d love to have you back at the Good Life - You know we’ll take great care of you!

Hi Liz: I'm, of course, delighted that the cottage layout worked out so well for your family. There's plenty of room for everyone to gather and enjoy together-time and the 3 bedrooms provide nice mini-escapes for napping and alone time as well. We, too, like it that our cottages are so close to the beach because our guests don't have to worry about parking, trams, etc., to get back and forth to the beach. Our goal is that all of our guests have easy, relaxing vacations in every way so that they can focus on making memories with the people they love :-). I'm delighted that you enjoyed the bikes, the convenience of the area (being so close to the lovely beach, many nice restaurants, coffee shops, easy walking, and more), and how well the cottage is equipped. We do our best to think about everything our guests will need so that our guests can relax and enjoy their vacation. And, I'm glad you enjoyed our recommendation for Goatfeathers! It's one of our favorite casual places to eat nearby because you can pick up your take-out meals and then dine at the picnic tables in the "commons" nearby and bring your own drinks (or dine under the breezy fans on the cottage porch). I agree that the location is great - within a 5 minute walk to the beach (where you can set up with the beach chairs/beach toys that we provide and relax) and within walking distance to Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach that have plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, playgrounds, a farmers' market on Sunday mornings (Rosemary Beach), and more. We want our guests to relax and feel at home as soon as they walk through the door, so that they can spend their time making memories together. We, too, spend much of our time on the covered porch when we're there to get as much of the Florida outdoor weather as we can (even when it rains). When we are there, I see quite a few people meeting (or quietly working on their laptops) at the wonderfully designed coffee shops at Alys Beach. I've even seen the lead architect of Alys Beach meeting with her team at one of the coffee shops a few times. We do our best to provide an accurate description of the cottage (including the games, puzzles, etc.), porch, pool and beach on VRBO - and I'm glad you found the cottage and area to be as nice as you expected. We want all of our guests' surprises to be good ones when they arrive at the cottage ::-). Like you, we appreciate the location of the cottage - so close to the beach where our guests can set up the beach chairs that we provide and relax (or rent a beach chair/umbrella set that is set up usually by 9:00 in the morning and taken down around 5:00 p.m. )..
