Renovated house at 2 minute from the Marine Corps Air Station main gate. Ideal location for military contractors, visitors, short or long term renters, or beach-lovers interested in the near-by coastal spots. Spacious car port with motion-activated lights. Good size deck to grill and enjoy sunny days. A comfortable seating area around the fire pit is provided in the backyard to help you relaxing at night. Pet friendly. Fenced backyard for the safety of your pets.
Please be aware that a security camera is located outside, overlooking the car port area. We believe that privacy is a critical component of a trusted environment. We have no cameras or recording devices inside of the house.

My family and I had a tragedy happen in the family we were in need of a place to stay while my sisters house was cleaned. The host was amazing and accommodated all our needs. The house was perfect and comfy. I was able to cook for my mom and sister and our dog had plenty of room to run around in the back yard. This place was so wonderful! We would definitely stay here again!

Nice little place

Nice little place conveniently located between Topsail and Emerald Islands that was pet friendly (which we really appreciated).Location was fine, just a bit of road noise at night with a few bars close by. Overall a really good experience

Very clean & convenient to all we needed to do. My 2 dogs stayed in the fenced in yard or on the porch. The washer & dryer were a big help too.

We had a great stay! We came in late one night and it was easy and quick to get into the property. Great fenced in back yard for the dogs, nice open floor plan to the house. House was very clean and nicely furnished.

Very clean place

Well kept clean home!!! Owner were great!! Only two things a lot of traffic noise and wish it was a two bath home… but overall great stay and great owners !!

Thank you for your review. It is included in the house description that there is only one bathroom in the house. I can mention also, that the convenience of a central location and the proximity to commercial places contrasts with quite and secluded houses that are more distant. My guests have been very pleased being at 2 minutes of supermarket, gas station, pizza place, main gate of military base.

Cozy indeed!

We needed accommodations for our family, including, our dog, to visit our son on Camp Lejeune. A Cozy House was close to the base, had a big fenced in yard for our pup, and room for us all to lounge and visit. The house is clean and beautifully decorated. The large tv in the living room was terrific to watch a movie. We will definitely be back!

Cozy Comfey Convenient

The name of this VRBO says it all. COZY INDEED !! My son is stationed at MCAS New River and the main gate is LITERALLY a 30 second drive from this home. The comfort. The cleanliness. The YARD !! The convenience. We will ABSOLUTELY stay at Cozy Home again and again and again. The property manager, Tanya (whom I thought was the owner) is TOP NOTCH and is at your beckon and call. Always checking in with you to make sure that everything about your stay is excellent. Don't stay at a hotel ....... STAY HERE !!

Quiet & Out the Way!

Loved the fenced-in backyard! It was GREAT for my two grandsons and dogs! Very quiet -- secluded which was fine for me, but my 31-year-old son was looking for a little more night-life which didn't exist in Jacksonville unless you were looking for a strip club! There could have been more access to electrical unit/outlets in the bedrooms, but other than that, worth the money paid!

2nd Stay Excellent

This was the 2nd time we stayed in this house, it's very clean and well kept. Quiet neighborhood nice backyard with a fire pit and deck and grill. Interior is really nice all upgrades in the kitchen everything you need is as far as appliances and utensils are provided. Beds were very comfortable. Open living room and dining area very relaxing and comfortable. Location is very convenient if you are visiting the Air Station or Camp Geiger straight out the gate probably a quarter mile right off highway 17. Grocery, pizza and a couple of bars within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again so much more relaxing than be cramped in a hotel room and hassle free checking in and out. Great place to stay if you have a family member stationed on New River or Geiger.

NC visit to family and beach

Enjoyed the easy process for entry and the property itself was entirely as portraid from pics. Kitchen with island was well suited to provide a comfortable space for meals. We found the place very cozy and solid hot water that lasted thru all our showers. Bedrooms had adequate space and sheets/blankets. We did find the internet wifi was not broadcasting a signal after we returned the second time so it was rebooted to restore. Appreciate having the covered carport to load and unload. All positive outside of a single roll of toilet left so we had to purchase some. We used both trash bags so having a few more would've been helpful. We did experience on a few nights loud motocycles and constant traffic into the early hours that affected sleeping on occasion. Very nice place and backyard. Only thing i may do if it were mine is provide cover for the firewood from the rain, provide easier access to the hdmi ports on the back of the tv, replace or fix any lamps that the switch didnt operate, and maybe something to aid in initial stale odor for the laundry closet from being locked most time. Incredible place that was easy to get to the beach from!!! Enjoyed or stay!!!!

Loved this gem of a home. Beautiful fenced in backyard for little ones to play and lovely home to lounge. The beds are super comfy and nicely decorated. Would definitely stay again. Host was very quick to respond.
