This is my fourth trip to North Carolina staying in a VRBO home and my second stay at this wonderful property—and I couldn’t be happier. I absolutely love staying here, and it will without a doubt remain my first choice whenever I visit NC. The home is spotless, tidy, and impressively organized. Perfect for us..super stocked

This was perfect with spacious and generously stocked living space. Fenced backyard was wonderful for play with grandkid and grill on patio made meal prep easy.

Amazing!

This rental is much more spacious than the pictures look. Tons of cookware, the bathrooms are spa like and even have built in hairdryer. Huge closets, big dressers and even luggage rack. All you need is the fun you being!

Great little place

The house was very clean. Close to shopping, restaurants, and bases. The big back yard was a huge plus as we had little ones who needed to be able to run around to get their energy out! We’d definitely stay here again.

Exactly What We Needed

This was the perfect place for us. Our son had surgery and needed a few days to recover. The home was 5 minutes from the gate we were able to pick him up from. Any supplies we needed were within a 20 minute drive max. Everything was very convenient and the home was well stocked with plenty of necessities. Thank you for making our stay easy and enjoyable.

Cozy home away from home

House looked like something from HGTV. Host answered any questions I had regarding weather (I booked in the summer for a late fall trip), any questions I had about local activities. Host checked in once I got in and settled to see if we needed anything. House was clean and had everything I needed for my stay. Would love to book the house again for my next visit down. Highly recommend this rental!

There when you need them

Overall, the property was clean and comfortable. I would suggest bringing your own pillows, the supplied pillows are not that comfortable. Other than that, everything was well stocked and clean. I’ll also add we had an issue with the lock and the property owner returned my call at 1:30 AM And assisted us in getting back into the home. That was amazing Service and I thank them very much for it.

Pleasant Stay

Clean property and was located very close to Wilson Gate. Well stocked kitchen, fire pit with extra outside chairs and grill were a plus. Thermostat and front door key pad were easy to use once receiving instructions from the property owner. Lots of extra blankets. Only complaint is the beds, which were very uncomfortable with hard, low mattresses and scratchy/pilled sheets that did not stay put and wrinkled up under your body all night long. There were no headboards on the beds and our pillows slipped down between the wall and the frame during the night. Also, a king bed in the master instead of a queen would be a huge improvement. Great place other than we lacked sleep during our 5 night stay.

The check-in process would be better if the lock she has would be easier to use....touchscreen isn't always better. She controls the temperature of the house and refrigerator and won't adjust it. Also, there is no wifi.

Hi Melissa, The WIFI instructions were just below the tv in the living room. I don't understand how you missed that. The refrigerator cannot be controlled by anybody, as you said it is controlled by me, How that can be possible? The smartlock is one of the thousands used in most rentals. The Thermostat works automatically... I would have appreciated a reply from you when I contacted you about an explanation regarding why my sofa bed, sliding bath door and garden hose was left broken, there were missing items in the house and items full of sand were dried in the drying machine clogging the filter (?). Also an attempt was done to block the external security cameras (with what intention?) but you fixed it when the tampering of the cameras was discovered. Why not a single word about all that? Being honest, responsible and valuing what one receives is something that we hosts really appreciate and encourages us to give more in favor of the guest. Dishonesty and irresponsibility do not help at all. Sooner or later, Vrbo could prohibit a guest with these characteristics to make a future reservation because the insurance had to pay for the damages that the guest left without saying a word.

Just fine

It was fine. Very cute vibe. Plenty of space for two adults and two pre teens. Nothing was a deal breaker for the trip. Beds were just okay at best. The main bedroom could easily have a king bed. The fans in any room barely move any air on high, trust me I tried pulling the chains and I was definitely on high. Water pressure was pathetic in the showers. Stay on top of the thermostat throughout the day bc it’s smart and will adjust if it doesn’t detect people. It will also raise the temp at 10 PM so you might wake up warm if in the warmer months. The kitchen does have all necessary tools for preparing meals. Fridge worked as expected but plan on getting a bag of ice if multiple people are using it. The washer and dryer worked as expected but are VERY loud while running. I would have easily paid a little more per night if some of my complaints were updated in the future. I will say it was close to the Wilson gate and the main road to Jacksonville. We stayed the last week of June 2025.
