The Carefree Flamingo is bright and cheerful, with colorful Florida décor. The bedrooms, on either side of the living area, provide privacy and comfortable space for two to four people. A screened lanai houses a heated pool and several pool-side dining/seating areas for relaxing and enjoying meals/cocktails. There is a gas grill located on the brick patio next to the lanai. The house is beautifully landscaped and has a private, fenced back yard. The recently renovated kitchen shares a half wall with the "Florida Room," making it easy to socialize with other guests. There are numerous nearby restaurants, beaches, stores, and amazing adventures just waiting for you!

Super Lage und schönes Anwesen

Es hat uns sehr gefallen. Haus, Pool und Garten waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und der Strand sind alle in der Nähe und gut zu erreichen. Es war sehr ruhig und entspannt. Eine sehr nette und zuvorkommende Vermieterin. 😁👍Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Such a comfortable house and super cute decor. The house has all the amenities you can think of, and everything is neat and clean. We especially loved the Florida room and the pool, as both provided great spots to relax. The host was so pleasant and had wonderful suggestions for beaches and restaurants in the area. Very clean, very comfortable, had everything we wanted/needed. Host was so kind and thoughtful, even checked in with us when there was unexpected cold snap to see if we were comfortable or needed to turn on the house heater! She was accommodating and flexible, in light of potential delays with gov't shutdown, making every effort to ensure our trip was successful, which it was. So appreciative of the notes/tips/instructions around the house that kept us feeling organized and fully comfortable with all household functions & details. Great stay at the Carefree Flamingo.

This property was exactly as shown. We loved the private back yard and pool. There were many thoughtful touches everywhere. My daughter and I enjoyed doing a puzzle on one rainy night. The property is very well cared for and Linda was very easy to work with. I would love to stay again, maybe this coming winter with my husband.

Fabulous Pool and Comfy Beds

Pool was awesome and beds were super comfy. Neighborhood felt isolated but it was bikable to cool Barefoot Beach. Bonita Springs is not very bike friendly so be extra careful. Couches were not cozy and the glass tables were painful. But otherwise we loved the place.

Wonderful

This is a very clean and well-kept home. The owners are kind, responsive and very close by. The kitchen is new and very well equipped. The pool was warm and relaxing. We enjoyed having two sitting areas as well as the lanai. Everthing was lovely and we would gladly return if available.

Great little house in Bonita Springs

The Carefree Flamingo was a great start to our winter getaway . The pool was lovely, although the weather did not cooperate (can only blame this on Mother Nature!). The beachy decor was very cute--nothing fancy, but everything was immaculate! Appliances appeared to be new; if they were not, they were certainly maintained beautifully. Our only issue in the 3 weeks we stayed here was a showing of a few small ants. Upon contacting Linda, she immediately showed up with ant traps. This was a minor issue but we were very impressed with the quick response and availability of Linda and Hank, who apparently live right in the area. There was nothing in disrepair. We would definitely recommend The Carefree Flamingo as pride of ownership was evident.

Wonderful home!!

What a wonderful and clean home! Owners were so kind and even left us a gift! Plenty of room for 2 couples and private as well. The pool was spotless and a nice area for sitting outside and playing cards. Enough room for my kids and their spouses to visit and relax with us. Hope to be able to stay again.

Great Experience

A beautiful place to stay, wonderful owners, I can’t say enough about our vacation. The beach was a 10 minute bike ride on the bikes provided to us , the weather was fantastic for the whole month, the pool was great and well used by us. Linda couldn’t have been any nicer to us . The house was perfect. I recommend that anyone thinking of going to Bonita, this is a great place to stay.

Ideal Vacation

February and March 2023 We enjoyed a wonderful stay at The Carefree Flamingo. Hank and Linda were very welcoming and helpful. The house was spotless and well equipped. We can’t say enough about the beautiful and very private heated pool. We spent hours floating on rafts and soaking up the always present sun. The location is ideal, we could walk to restaurants and the beach. The grocery store is a short 4 minute drive away and there is shopping close by. We highly recommend The Carefree Flamingo. Great Place to Decompress

The property is everything describe in the listing and then some (e.g. Property owners went of the their way to stock the refrigerator since we were arriving on a holiday, stopped by to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay, etc.). So, with everything provided - we naturally could just focus on relaxing in the pool and take occasional treks to the beach (either by car or by the provided bikes). Truly, an extraordinary stay.

Perfect Vacation Home!

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect vacation. The house was beautiful inside and out. The hosts were very accomodating and so easy to talk with. They thought of every little detail to make our vacation perfect from the totally stocked updated kitchen to the beach towels rolled up in a basket just waiting for us to use them. The pool was so refreshing and totally private. The beaches and restaurants were minutes away. Bikes were provided to ride through the quite neighborhood. All beach equipment was also provided. The house was immaculate and very confrontable. If I could have, I would give this house a rating of 10! A perfect house, a perfect vacation!

Wonderful!

Our stay was so comfortable and the home was perfect for us. The inside and outside of the home is well cared for. We were blessed to find such a great home in the Bonita Springs area to enjoy our vacation. The location was very convenient to go to many different beaches, stores, restaurants, and we also found it very easy to take little day trips to explore surrounding cities. Following a leisurely walk on Barefoot/Bonita Beaches (they are connected), just 1.3 miles from The Carefree Flamingo, I found myself reflecting on the many delights of this beautiful tropical paradise. Visitors at the beach were enjoying swimming, shelling, fishing, and sunbathing. A few people were on paddleboards and they made it look so easy. A couple of sandcastles were under construction. Doc's Restaurant was still quiet, getting jet skis and their sailboat ready for the day. The Parasail Boat will arrive soon to provide adventures for the brave. Osprey, Ibis, Sandpipers, Snowy Egrets, Pelicans, and a Tri-colored Heron added pleasure to my walk. The best surprise showed up just as I returned to the boardwalk -- a dolphin was chasing fish into the shoreline and putting on quite a show for on-lookers. Such are the pleasures of being in The Carefree Flamingo paradise!
