We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the accommodations. We strive to provide 5 star accommodations to all of our guests and we have earned VRBO's 'premiere' status . As far as me texting you, I tried to reach you via the VRBO app, and I sent you emails with no response from you. As you know, we don't live on the property and we personally check in each guest. Therefore, we needed to know your arrival time. That's why I texted you. I asked about the sofa bed because I was trying to ascertain if you violated our maximum occupancy limit of 6 people. But, then I learned that one of your children peed on the bed. So that explained why the sofa bed was used, which is fine, but you could have been straight forward with me. One of your children also had diarrhea and stuffed up the toilet. This caused an overflow onto the rug in front of the commode. When that happened, it splattered feces on the toilet seat, the back of the bowl, down the out side of the toilet and on the floor. Furthermore, the bath mat was also used to soak up the overflowed toilet. This is a bio hazard and my housekeeper charged extra to clean it up. Additionally, according to our handyman, the glass slider door lock was broken because someone forced it open while one of the locks was still in the locked position. I gave you a complete breakdown of the charges and only charged you what it cost to replace the lock and clean up the bio hazard waste, which is reasonable. I didn't mention, or charge you, for the cleaning of excessive sand and broken shells brought into the house, and the cookie pieces found throughout the house and furniture including in the bed and on the sofa. As you stated, the property was immaculate when you arrived, a far cry from the condition you left it in. As I previously told you, we follow CDC rental cleaning guidelines for cleaning our property. That seemed to impress you, but what you referred to as 'spots' on the rug and mattress, you must be referring to another property you stayed at because we didn't charge you for that. Thankfully, all of our mattresses have water proof mattress protectors on them. We charged you $50 for clean up of bio hazard waste. As stated above, we strive to give each and every guest the best vacation experience by providing immaculate accommodations, a well stocked kitchen and plenty of consumable products such as spices, coffee, creamer, teas, cleaning products, etc. As you can see by the 5 star reviews that previous guests have left, and by your own statement above, we've succeeded in achieving that and we earned VRBO's 'premiere' status. Your admission that our accommodations were immaculate belies your 4 star review. You just weren't happy that you were charged for damages. But, the bottom line still remains that we are glad you enjoyed your stay and we wish you and your family all the best.

This goes a long long in making our guests happy and in feeling as if they are the FIRST to stay at the vacation home. The sea turtles, along with other wild life, add to the overall experience. This fall the land crabs come in droves across A1A to lay their eggs in the sea and then make their way back to land. It is quite the sight to behold as they cross the property and A1A.
