The Forest Edge Cabin is a luxurious cabin nestled in the woods of Hocking Hills on 57 acres of private acreage while still remaining close to Logan restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The cabin boasts 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a large living space, and a magnificent kitchen. Traveling is a breeze when you stay with us as the lodge is fully equipped with great amenities. Property offers game room, outdoor hot tub, fire pit, and hiking trails. State Parks, lakes, canoe & kayaking, ziplining and so much more all located within a short distance from the property.
Relax, stargaze, or spend some quality time out by the campfire with family and friends. 10 minutes down the road, guests will find Lake Logan which offers an abundance of relaxation by the water. Take a 15-20 minute drive from your cabin to visit Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, Rock House, Conkle’s Hollow, or Rock Bridge located in Hocking Hills State Park. No matter the season, you and your guests won’t be disappointed when visiting all the beauty Hocking Hills offers!

The Forest Edge cabin is near Hocking Hills located 5 miles from Logan and 12 miles to Nelsonville, Ohio. The State Park offers over thousands of acres to explore by hiking, off-highway vehicle riding, mountain biking, or horseback riding. When in town, guests will want to visit Logan or Nelsonville’s Historic Square Arts District, Stuart’s Opera House, Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, or the Nelsonville Music Festival that is held every year at Hocking College. On the opposite side of Nelsonville is Lake Hope State Park located in Zaleski State Forest. Guests can enjoy some fine dining at Lake Hope Lodge or a day of picnicking and swimming with family and friends.

Very nice cabin and location. Wildlife to see and a trail to walk. Close to the State Parks for other hiking. Hot Tub was fully functional, but overall very nice place to stay. Would do it again.

We absolutely loved our stay here, the staff was really easy to get in touch with as well. Only complaint I have is that the hot tub was green, I contacted the desk and they sent someone out, but they had to drain the entire hot tub and said once it was heated up we could use it- had to wait until the next day for it to heat up and then ended up with chemical burns because it was too soon even though we were advised it was okay to use as though it was one hour shock or something. But overall it was a great trip.

Lovely stay

The ladies in the office were easy to work with. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Our young girls loved the hot tub (which worked perfectly) and it’s in a great location close to everything we wanted to see. It was our first visit to the area, and we plan to visit again.

It is beautiful and serene, the dogs loved the huge space to run and the trails to explore from the house. We loved the quiet. It is a beautiful house inside as well, the large deck out back got lots of use. You might want to consider not taking a car up the driveway as it is definitely rough, but it's in the mountains so that is expected. We would absolutely stay again!!

Pros: Location is very private but beware, there is a steep driveway. The cabin is comfortable and cozy. Lots of seating for relaxing in front of the gas fireplace. Large table for games and dining. Hot tub is an 8 out of 10. Cons: bed pillows are awful and sheets wouldn't stay on the mattress. Stove oven doesn't work...easy fix. (wasn't told ahead of time) Toaster oven is provided but most of the bakeware doesn't even fit inside. Fridge door swings in the wrong direction (annoying) easy fix though! All in all, the cabin was clean and we had a good stay.

Take a 15-20 minute drive from your cabin to visit Old Man's Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, Rock House, Conkle's Hollow, or Rock Bridge located in Hocking Hills State Park. No matter the season, you and your guests won't be disappointed when visiting all the beauty Hocking Hills offers!

The Forest Edge is located 5 miles from Logan and 12 miles to Nelsonville, Ohio. The State Park offers over thousands of acres to explore by hiking, off-highway vehicle riding, mountain biking, or horseback riding. When in town, guests will want to visit Nelsonville's Historic Square Arts District, Stuart's Opera House, Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, or the Nelsonville Music Festival that is held every year at Hocking College. On the opposite side of Nelsonville is Lake Hope State Park located in Zaleski State Forest. Guests can enjoy some fine dining at Lake Hope Lodge or a day of picnicking and swimming with family and friends.
