We had a wonderful stay. We were in town for the PGA golf tournament. The condo was walking distance to downtown and the shuttle stop for the tournament. The beach view was fabulous and the condo was perfect for the two of us. Check in/out was a breeze. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great for a family

This property is beautiful. It’s within walking distance to the water. Short drive to beaches. I booked last minute so I had a three bedroom to myself. The loft area upstairs is perfect and private for a family to share. Great view of pool and partial ocean. Fun to watch the live entertainment from the lanai.

We just installed all new flooring last year and competely repainted the villa. We installed a new central air system last October. We had a wonderful stay. The condo was perfect. It was decorated beautifually and furnished with everything we needed. We really enjoyed having the bicycles. We will be staying at this condo in the future. The photos accurately show how the condo is decorated and the view to the beach. We stayed in 370 seaside villas. The smell hit you when you first walked in the door, musty…balcony was wet from the air conditioning unit being on the balcony. However, the view was amazing.

We are very disappointed with this review. We received the musty smell complaint from this guest when she checked in, and immediately contacted our property manager to go to the villa. Both housekeeping and maintenance visited the villa, and neither could confirm the musty smell, nor find any source. Wet carpet on the balcony was never reported by this guest, which would have been helpful, since this villa has central air, and we would have had our A/C person out there immediately. Because we could not find a resolution to the smell issue for this guest, we offered to refund her full rental payment, and let her move elsewhere. She chose not take us up on our offer. We are saddened by this review. We have had two sets of guests in this villa since this guest checked out, and no report of musty smell. A report on the wet carpet was made, and we had it remedied within two days. The reviews for this villa are usually very positive, and our guests return here year after year!

The unit we stayed in was very nice. Great location and one of the best views in the building. As mentioned in other reviews the hallways leading to our unit had a strong smell like cleaning chemicals or maybe pesticides. Don’t really know. Other than that it was a very nice vacation.

Perfect view

The location was perfect, the view of the ocean was amazing. The villa itself was clean and nice. We absolutely loved the king size bed. We were a bit disappointed to find that one of the beach chairs was broken, but somewhat usable. We were also a bit disappointed that there were no beach towels available to use. Otherwise we were very happy with the accommodations, and enjoyed our stay, and would rent this Villa again in the future.

The Perfect Condo on the Beach!

Super clean, updated, comfortable and convenient with 100% views of the ocean. Owners extremely conscientious and very easy to communicate with. It was the perfect place to get away for our anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed walking on the beach in the morning with our coffees to watch the sunrise and watching the sunset with our wine in the evening. We also made use of Hilton Head's easy and safe biking trails with your nice bikes and took advantage of the clean fitness center with their large selection of equipment, pool and hot tub. Can we please come back? :)

Beautiful view from the balcony, nicely decorated. Bedding was thrown in the closet- wasn’t sure what was clean and what wasn’t. Dishes were dirty. Mold in the coffee pot. Just alittle neglected. Hello Jacqueline, We are happy that you enjoyed our Sea Side Villa 370. Thank you for sharing your issues with us, as this is the only way we can rectify them. I have reported your cleaning issues to our property manager. It is disturbing to hear of such a mess since we pay a large amount for cleaning such a small condo, so the cleaning should be well done. It sounds like this cleaning was never finished.....I will get back to you once I hear from the property manager. As for the coffee maker, we have two in the villa...one is a drip model and one is a K-cup model. Since the kcup model does not have a water resevoir, I am assuming the mold was in the drip model? As for the sofa bed, we invested in a seriously upgraded model just so it would be comfortable, so if it is not, then we must address this immediately. I will be in HHI this week, and will work on this issue. Again, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. We hope you come back and stay with us again in the future. Barb and John

place as advertised overall!

Place was as advertised. Somewhat disappointed doors to bedroom and bathroom warped or swelled from the humidity mad every difficult to close quietly. Big crack in wall behind TV. Recliner needs replaced as right arm on chair loose and call maintenance, but they could not do anything. When you sat in chair, you sunk in making it difficult to get out of. But bed was comfortable.

Hello Edwin, Thank you for sharing your thoughts on our Sea Side Villa 370. Humidity is a creature of a beach environment, but we will look at those doors to see if they can be shaved down a little. Good to hear that the bed was comfortable as we paid a considerable premium for an upgraded mattress. The recliner is actually reasonally new, and came to us with the loose arm. We have had both the manufacturer, our management company and ourselves, tighten that arm, but it always re-loosens. We are in the process of replacing that chair. We have replaced the drywall behind the TV twice now, and that wall cracks as soon as we install new drywall. Our management company says it is because oceanfront buildings on HHI are built on sand, so there is constant shifting of the building. We truly have tried to eliminate this crack! We hope you enjoyed the beautiful view of the ocean from this condo, and your entire visit to Hilton Head.

Not so clean

Love the area, have rented at Sea Side Villas before. This condo has a great ocean front view but wasn't very clean. Dead bugs on floor. The tile was old and dirty. Bathroom very dirty. Shower had moldy grout and soap remnants on shower caddy. Also the shower didn't drain well. Had to stand in 3 inches of water while showering! Seems like maybe the owners hadn't been there in awhile.

Dear Deborah, Thanks for sharing your thoughts on our villa. I am dismayed to hear about the cleaning issue, as we now pay $115 every check out in order to get quality cleaning. We will report this to our agent in Hilton Head. I am assuming you did not report it, or they would have sent the cleaners back to reclean for you. As for the tile, we are assessing whether to install pergo flooring, or re-grout the current tiles. Like everywhere, it is impossible to find contractors to do this kind of work for small projects at this time. However, if you found the tile dirty, that is a completely different issue which should also be addressed by the cleaning people and our agent. Again, thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. As owners, (who live in Indiana) we are on property 3-4 times per year, so definitely keep eyes on our villas. However, this villa rents constantly, so we don't get to stay there, and our guests are our very best source of information. It is so helpful to us when guests share what needs our immediate attention. Be assured that your issues will be rectified. Thank you, Barb and John

Nice condo but crowded area

We have stayed in many places on HHI and I have to admit, I will never stay in the Coligny area again. It was too crowded for me. The unit was nice although the huge air conditioning unit on the balcony was so loud, the sound of the ocean could not be heard and it was way too hot to turn it off. The biggest disappointment was the public beach access that ran right between Seaside Villas 1 and 2 because it made the beach incredibly crowded. The people staying across the street or elsewhere used the pools and shower areas- the pools and shower areas had gates that were supposed to require codes- the pool gates were disabled and the gates leading from beach to condo area had their locks entirely removed.

Hello Denise, HHI is very crowded in the summertime, because it is such a popular family vacation destination. If possible, maybe you could visit after mid -August, when the kids go back to school, and the island slows down considerably. As for the A/C in our villa, we invested a great deal of money in central air, which is not common at Sea Side Villas, so that our guests would have comfort throughout our villa. I am truly sorry if the unit seemed loud to you, but I believe all A/C units would be equally loud. I will find out why our pool gates were not locked, as this is a new feature, just added this year at our villas, and , as president of the board, I should be notified if and why they are not working. Thank you for sharing that information. As for the public walkway between SSVI and SSVII, every owner at both complexes would agree with you that we wish it were not there. Unfortunately, the people who built our villas made an agreement with the town to provide that walkway in perpetuity. We have tried every legal means we know to have it shut down, but the town will not budge. Thank you for sharing your comments. I will use your thoughts to improve what I can at our villas. The condo was clean and the furniture was comfortable. direct ocean view I spent just about every evening enjoying the sun set.

Love hilton head!

Very nice place, maybe would have liked it a little cooler in the unit! It was warm and a little musty. Overall a good experience 😌 nice owners!

Spectacular Views- Great Location

The property was as described. Beautiful views, great location and clean. The unit was perfect for my Husband and I, the owners did a great job of stocking the kitchen and supplying basic essentials. We will definitely be renting this unit next year!

First, but not last visit to Hilton Head Island!

This was our first visit to Hilton Head Island, SC. We loved it & we will definitely visit again some day. The condo was right on the beach with a nice view of the ocean. Great location to shops & restaurants too. The condo was nice & met our needs. Looking forward to visiting the Island again some day.

Some minor maintenance issues

Great location but condo was somewhat difficult to get to as it was quite a distance from the elevator on the third floor with multiple doors to negotiate with the provided baggage carts. Some minor issues with the sliding door to the patio deck as it would not stay closed without dropping the provided board to put in the track to keep the slider secure. A minor leak from the under the glass shower wall next to the the toilet. A really inconvenient trash receptacle in the kitchen. A difficult challenge to set and keep the temperature in the condo at a comfortable level. Another wise great experience with a wonderful view of the beach and ocean and access to it after climbing and descending the three flights of stairs, which was somewhat challenging for a couple in our 70+ age group.

Lots of gates

Great once we found our way. Four gates on the property and map only shows one. Once we figured out which gate to use with our code it was good. Also it would be good to get our email instructions for our trip the week prior not four months prior to our trip. No code was provided to use the sundeck next to building 2 and we were in building one.
