The little train opposite the tourist office will give you plenty of ideas for things to discover and a great overview of Arcachon!
At lunchtime, let yourself be tempted by an oyster tasting in one of the Bassin's oyster ports - the port of La Teste is just 300m away - or in Gujan, or at the Arcachon market (bring a container if you want them opened, and don't go too late for this request), then set off to conquer the majestic Dune du Pilat!
If you fancy taking to the open sea, there are regular boat shuttles from the Thiers jetty to Cap Ferret, Ile aux oiseaux and the famous cabanes tchanquées!
