It is in the old miller's house of the 4 Montbel mills, now gone, that Marie-Célie, the owner, undertook 4 long years of work before opening this gîte. With a certain passion for the local terroir, she offers you a comfortable stay, with your family, in a quiet residential area. Advantage of the proximity of the village, here, everything is accessible on foot: shops, restaurants, lake, etc. The Gîte Les Echaunes owes its name to the old district where Marie-Célie's parents lived, a family originally from the Drôme. The composition of the photos will make you want to discover this wonderful region of Lauragais: Toulouse, 30km away, its Place du Capitole; the gastronomy of the southwest; Caraman, its swimming lake and its market. The names of the rooms have also been carefully chosen: "Violettes de Toulouse", "Cocagne", Souleilla" and "Canal du Midi" (exceptional creation by Pierre-Paul Riquet, uniting the Atlantic with the Mediterranean), which is 20km from the cottage. Revel-Lac-Saint-Ferréol is 23km away: Grand Site Occitanie, swimming lake and Cité d'Art; and Carcassonne is 78km away. Gîte on 2 levels with an unfenced garden of 300m2, large parking: - Ground floor: entrance - separate toilet - fitted kitchen - living/dining room. - First floor: - Bedroom "Souleilla" (1 double bed 160X200cm and 2 single beds 90X190cm, on the mezzanine after a steep staircase). - Bedroom "Canal du Midi" (1 double bed 140X190cm) with each with its own bathroom and private toilet. - "Violettes de Toulouse" room (2 single beds 90X190cm, including a pull-out bed to be installed on request). - "Cocagne" room (1 double bed 160X200cm).
