My host was charming and always available for anything I needed. If you communicate with her about anything she’s there to make it better. Loved the pool and the breeze and the quietness outside. Charming. It was island life perfection.

Initially, we had some difficulty finding the home, but she was one call away and answered immediately. She helped us navigate our way there. She was pleasant and so nice. The place was quiet and away from the busy area. It was clean and had everything we needed. It was a nice getaway and the host was great!

Privacy and peaceful breeze

We had a short two night stay. We definitely enjoyed the tranquil and relaxing breezes as well as the privacy. We found it to be a great stay and a great value. Sandra was kind and helpful. My wife felt very safe on the property.

Dreamy Breezes 2-night stay

Great Stay. Sandra was a great host yet gave us privacy. Very convenient location to Christiansted. Quiet, peaceful and true to its name with a very comfortable breeze. Would love to stay again.

AMAZING HOST AND LOCATION

The host is more than helpful, she was very welcoming as well. The location is perfect as it’s in short distance from lots of beaches, the boardwalk, and town shops. The property is very safe and organized. Great stay!!!!

Great getaway

The host Sandra and her pups were a delight. Location is convenient to everything you need. Amazing beaches and stores all within a few miles. Definitely recommend a rental car for this property as walking would not be ideal to get around. Pool was a nice added bonus. I would definitely come back to this property in the future.

Our winter getaway

A very peaceful quiet getaway. Setting in the hills of St Croix the breezes were wonderful. Our host was also wonderful! The studio was beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything we needed. She checked with us routinely to make sure we and everything was ok. Couldn't ask for anything more!

Hillside paradise

This is a well equipped one bedroom apartment with extensive outdoor spaces, including two terraces and a swimming pool. The views across the valley are stunning. Tamarind Reef Beach is 30 minutes walk away, Christiansted is 10 minutes by car. Sandra is a wonderful host. She replied promptly to our messages and had many tips for exploring the island. She also very generously helped us out with lifts and lendt us an old phone. We could not have wished for a better place to stay!

Hidden Gem

I loved loved loved this apartment. It was perfect for my husband and I to use for our most recent trip to STX. It's exactly as described and then some. The breeze when opening the doors was perfect and we didn't turn the air on once. Close enough to Christiansted (it's not in town) but far enough to be a private tranquil oasis! You will not be disappointed. Sandra was very easy to get a hold of for any questions but yet you didn't even realize she was there. Her dogs are super friendly too and not a bother at all. I would buy this house if I could! Thanks Sandra for a wonderful week. Highly recommend.

This was a cute little pool house, owner had all the needed necessities to cook & enjoy the beautiful surroundings. However, a car is a must due to being off all walking or taxi routes. Communication could have been better, we were lost and had to use terrible road to get to the house, but later found out from a friend there was a safer route that did not require 4 wheel drive…not mentioned by the owner. My family did enjoy the short stay and loved having a pool, washer & dryer all for our personal use… had to clean the pool ourselves first but worked out fine.

Priced properly

Sandra welcomed us upon our arrival, which is always nice for an owner to do. The pricepoint of the property is accurate. Providing us with drinking water and condiments was a nice touch. The mattress and bedding were very good. We understand with the weather in this part of the world it is quite difficult to keep any home in the islands properly maintained. We chose not to bring to Susan's attention during our stay certain elements of the rental we found annoying because we felt there was nothing that she could do about them while we were there for 3 nights. 1. The kitchen fan motor is old, noisy and needs replacing. 2. The refrigerator compressor is wearing out, is quite loud during regular operation and makes a loud clunking noise upon turning on and off. 3. The full grown dogs are not "puppies" and enjoy being barking guard dogs evertime someone walks past the home - 6am in the morning, afternoons and at night. 4. The interior stucco walls were blistering & peeling in some spots. The pictures in the listing do not reflect the "aging" of the unit but we do believe with a little new investment into the property it would again become a very nice rental.

I was very happy to accommodate the recent guest and am sorry that they had some dissatisfaction. I am always concerned about the welfare and comfort of guests so I would really appreciate it if issues are shared with me during the vacation stay. I always ask how things are during the stay and if I am told all is fine then I take that at face value. For example, I would have and will make arrangement for dogs to curtail future problems if it had been brought to my attention. As the relatively new owner of the property, upgrades have been ongoing over the past 2 years with priority being given to the most urgent needs such as new water heater and cistern water filtration, automatic generator on an island with frequent outages, electrical replacements and exterior tije sensitive lighting, new barbeque grill, new brick steps leading from back sliding doors and repair and paint concrete/wood seat by poolside. Return guests who stay for 2 months have been pleased with the changes they found upon their return this year. I did notice the fridge problem late last week and it is being replaced. Never had complaints about the fan before even from the longer term guests but I will look into that. I believe the peeling paint described is so minimal and in such unobtrusive areas that it is not an impediment to the enjoyment of the premises and will be addressed in due course.

You have to translate from Swedish. Det är ett lugnt område. Fullt utrustad med spis, kyl och frys, tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Allt detta passade oss, eftersom vi stannade en vecka. Dessutom fanns badstolar och badhanddukar, för en mysig dag på till exempel Mermaid Beach. Nackdelen är att adressen inte finns på Google Maps. Presentationen borde innehålla en print screen som visar läget. Sandra svarar snabbt på meddelanden.
