Private Beach Front Cottage

The pool started leaking the week prior to their stay while I was there and i immediately gave them a heads up that it would not be usable the first week of their month long stay but it was being repaired as quickly as possible. I set them up to use the pool at the place next door and one less than a mile down the street and reimbursed her for using them. The beach was crystal clear the week I was there and it sounds like there was a little seaweed during a part of their stay. I wish I could control all seaweed but that is Mother Nature and is out of my hands. I do take care of things within my control and the pool was repaired and beautiful by the 2nd week of their stay. They chose to stay at the cottage for over 30 days and not rent a car so I understand their frustration but they chose to be there for 30 straight days against my recommendation of renting a car so I’m afraid they wouldn’t have been completely satisfied no matter what I did about the pool. It’s unfortunate. I do highly recommend you rent a car during your stay on the island so you can see the sights, enjoy all of the beaches and places to eat. The cottage and house are about a 15 min drive from downtown, 5-10 min from restaurants other than the one across the street and other beaches are a few miles away as well.
