At one time it was a wonderful place to stay.
Rating Details:
The property manager was very unhelpful.
The vacation rental was very dirty.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

Edgewater Inn has a premier location on the water in Charlevoix. That won’t change. Sadly, the overall appearance of the property, both inside and out is poor.My family and I have stayed in various units nearly every year for two decades and have observed it decline in every aspect. From the popcorn ceilings to the dark worn hallway carpet, broken room furniture, squeaking bed frames, and tired wall paint the entire rental needs help.I felt that the reservation staff were not just unfriendly but arrogant. They certainly weren’t forthcoming about construction on the property. They notified us two days before we arrived a wedding that the room we were staying in was having work done to the balcony and we would be unable to use it. isn’t that part of the reason that you stay on the lakefront property, do use balcony overlooking lake?It almost appears that the owners of the property are intentionally letting it run down perhaps to be able to have the original agreements with the community of this being a rental property instead of a residential property, change.There’s really nothing that I experienced on our last trip that makes me believe that the owners of this vacation property wants anybody to return.
