Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the home did not meet your expectations and that the delayed check-in, lack of USB charging ports, and condition of the main room furniture affected your stay. We appreciate you noting that the kitchen area was nice, but we understand your disappointment with the older furniture, chipped table, uncomfortable chairs, and need for additional updates. We also apologize that the room was not ready until 30 minutes after the scheduled check-in time. Guests should be able to begin their stay on time, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience. Your comments about the USB ports, furniture condition, and overall updates will be shared with our management team and the unit owner for review. We also regret hearing that your friend’s rental had similar concerns. Thank you again for bringing these items to our attention. Your feedback helps us identify where improvements are needed for future guests.

Here’s a polished response you can post: Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the stunning lake view, convenient location near town and the beach, updated condo features, pool, sauna, and excellent service from our housekeeping and staff. Those are all important parts of the guest experience, and we’re happy those aspects of your stay met expectations. That said, we’re truly sorry the bedroom did not match the quality of the rest of the condo. Your comments about the outdated condition, items under the bed, uncomfortable mattress, exposed tags, missing bed skirt, older bedding, and pillows with an odor are very concerning and have been shared with our housekeeping and management teams. The bedroom should feel clean, fresh, comfortable, and consistent with the rest of the unit, and we apologize that it fell short. We are addressing these items directly, including a more detailed inspection under the bed, review of the mattress and bedding, replacement of pillows as needed, and evaluating updates to bring the bedroom up to the same standard as the rest of the condo. Thank you again for recognizing the beautiful location, kitchen, amenities, housekeeping, and staff while also being honest about where we need to improve. Your feedback is extremely helpful, and we appreciate the opportunity to make corrections for future guests.

Thank you for your review! We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your time at Edgewater and that the clean, bright space suited your needs. We appreciate your feedback about the bedroom lighting and will look into making improvements. It's great to know that the kitchen was well-equipped and that our housekeeping staff was attentive to your requests. We hope to welcome you back for another pleasant stay in the future!

Thank you Kent for the feedback on your stay! It is always so nice to see 5's. I will definitely let the owner of this unit know that they should update the bed and pillows. Unfortunately, the owner of the Restaurant does not have the staff or the need to offer takeout and delivery. Charlevoix does offer doordash and instacart if you needed takeout or delivery.

Thank you for the review Rares, We are happy that you found your unit to be clean and well stocked! As you may know each of our units are individually owned and decorated to each owners personality and tastes. We do appreciate your honest feedback! Please take call the front desk for future bookings, we can help you find a unit more suited to your needs.

Hello Sue, We have had our landscaping company out to take care of the overgrown shrubs. Our pool is in working order and has been all season. The hot tub is down for repair and is stated on our website, at the front desk ,as well as posted on the jacuzzi itself. Unfortunately finding someone able to make the necessary repairs has been an issue. We hope you enjoyed your stay otherwise and look forward to your future bookings. Rose

Hello Diana! Your Review definitely brightened my day! 104 is a beautiful unit and the owners are lovely people. We are in the process of replacing the damaged floor boards so It will be in tip top shape for your next visit!! Rose
