Summary:

First and foremost it will be an honor for us to host one of our units and share our love for San Diego with you. We invite you to celebrate life and get to know our exquisite city. San Diego is a melting pot of cultures. Your stay is in heart of San Diego. Our apartment is a walking distance from Balboa Park, San Diego Downtown, and Little Italy. Five a minute walk to Hillcrest and a mile far from Airport. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place.



The Space:

Modern, luxurious and prime location. All three in one just for you. Open plan, with top of line full size mattress for a great night sleep. Full size bed includes a twin size trundle that can be pulled out from under the bed for extra sleeping space. Chic Boutique furniture and accessories that have been hand-picked especially for each unit’s needs. Inspired by a pronounced interior designer from our sunny San Diego. Also including a futon for extra living or sleeping space. The natural light in the unit is astonishing. Of course, if you prefer shade, we do have faux wood blinds that you can adjust to your liking. Kitchenette has a sink with a microwave and a mini fridge. Includes all dishware for up to four guests. An electric kettle is also included. The highlight of your unit is the patio. We welcome you to relax and lounge to a beautiful sunset or have your morning breakfast and coffee on the patio table.



The Neighborhood:

We are on the corner of Fir St and Sixth St in San Diego. Right across Sixth St is Balboa Park, one of the top destination attractions San Diego has to offer. You will find amazing Museums surrounded by gorgeous gardens. Walking through Balboa Park you will also find a lot of local vendors and artists. You can do your morning run at the park and enjoy Sunny San Diego. Conveniently located on sixth avenue and a CVS a block away from outside of the building. You will be within walking distance from restaurants and coffee shops.

San Diego International Airport

Seaport Village,

Little Italy,

Gaslamp Quarter,

and San Diego Convention Center are minutes away by car or a short Uber/Lyft ride.



Getting Around:

Having a vehicle is ideal anywhere in California but not necessary when staying at this apartment. You will find many things are at a walking distance or short Uber/Lyft ride. Electric Scooters available around the building and you can ride or walk to Downtown San Diego, Little Italy and Balboa Park Museums. The San Diego airport is 2.4 miles to our apartment, that is usually a couple minutes’ drive.

You can contact me through the Airbnb app anytime. I’m %100 here to help. I will do my best to make you feel at home. I left some chocolate and beverages in the refrigerator. Please feel free to have them.

The host was very helpful. Lovely view of Balboa Park and the walk to the museums is about a mile. It is near the airport so there are planes flying low overhead.

Make sure to note if you have extra people. I just registered me and we had only one towel otherwise, excellent place and location. Very pretty. Pub downstairs with great burgers, beautiful park across the street m, coffee shop 4 minutes walk. Loved it.

Host was very welcoming took my bag up to my room. Room was impeccably set up, clean, and ready for my stay. The place had everything I needed: coffee and tea for me to make, a tv for me to stream my shows the one night I decided to stay in, a small toothpaste and toothbrush (especially great since I left my toothpaste home!), a perfect view of Balboa Park…I couldn’t have asked for better!

The room was nice and clean. But a little small. However, it worked well for us except for the lack of a kitchen.The hosts were very nice and accomodating. We did use the gated parking and with that and the rest of the facility, we felt very safe and secure. Overall, we were happy with our stay.

Perfect for a short visit to Balboa Park museums and gardens. Room was great, location was convenient to Balboa Park. Staff were helpful. Area is filled with homeless people, so that is something to consider. All of the parking in the area is metered and short-term, so you need to get the parking spot in the garage.

The host did inform us there was no elevator and that we were directly under the flight path of San Diego airport. There was times with the various security codes wouldn't work. The neighborhood was a not so safe several blocks underneath the flight path.

Totally cool spot. Will totally rent again. Close to alot to do. The biggest drawback is itsvin almost direct flightbpath of planes landing, i mean theres a fly over literally every 4 mins, i timed it. Only drawback was that you need to use your own stream devices not evn llen basic cable provided. I didnt care bc on vacay im not sitting in the room.

Great Launching Point for Weekend Getaway

We stayed here during a weekend trip to San Diego. The immediate area around the apartment building is still what might be considered an area "in transition," but when you get a block or two away it feels safe to walk around. Location is great for walkers -- we easily got down to Little Italy, Gaslamp Quarter, Embarcadero. And there's also breweries/restaurants within a mile of the unit. Getting in/out of the apartment was easy -- it's all keypad so no worries about keys. Worth noting that this is definitely in the flight path of San Diego Airport, so during the day and evening you'll hear jets flying low above every few minutes.

This place was WAY oversold and with false advertising. Two blind pieces fell as we opened them. The beds are extremely uncomfortable, airplane noise is horrific. No cushions on the patio furniture. Deceiving advertising is an understatement. They refused to try to make anything right.Needless to say, we ended up getting a hotel room.

The studio apartment was comfortable and had the usual amenities. I was unable to get a steady connection to the site’s wi-fi and was a little concerned about the condition of the area immediately around the property, but it wasn’t an issue during my stay. Free parking is available on the street, but not always adjacent to the property. It should be noted that the property is in the flight path of the airport; low-flying jets could be heard every 5-10 minutes during the day. The property is an easy walk to Balboa Park, and an easy drive to the freeway. The bed was comfy and I appreciated the table and chairs on the patio that overlooks the park.
