It’s easy to know you’ve arrived when you drive up - a 100 year White Oak stands sentry over the broad front lawn. Woo and Hoo, our friendly frogs (you’ll understand when you arrive) are also there to greet our guests as they park. We utilize an electronic keypad for ease of entry, and we’ll send along info about the alarm and entertainment systems after you book.

We actually fell in love with the split-level layout. The spacious communal spaces are distinct but not isolated, and the private rooms are intimate. The kitchen is a joy to use, and we love that it is fully integrated with the main living space (although we had to power-up our kitchen cleaning skills). All of the stainless appliances are top-of-the-line and ultra-quiet, including a brilliantly designed microwave drawer. We added a large deck to take advantage of the great weather in Raleigh, and coupled with the big backyard, the home provides a fantastic outdoor living experience. It’s amazing how much home they packed into 2000 square feet - it offers a very comfortable lifestyle.

We have fully equipped the kitchen and baths to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible - all you will need are your clothes and some groceries. We promise to make sure that everything is sanitized and proper for you and your pets. In case you’re wondering about what we did to this home…
The home was significantly renovated a short while ago - several walls were removed, and all new systems were installed. The kitchen and all the bathrooms were redesigned, and luxury fixtures and finishes were added. We were able to maintain and refinish the beautiful hardwoods, and we added a stained concrete floor on the lower level. We found and installed an old 1800’s cabinet in the kitchen, and we wrapped the island with reclaimed barnwood (always interesting to see if our guests can find the hidden storage in the kitchen and master bathroom!).
