We stayed a week at A Little Bit O’ Heaven with our extended family (7 adults) and it was a really good call for a mountain/lake trip.Rick and Martha were great hosts! We messaged about early check-in and Rick followed up the next morning after cleaning. Day of, he texted when the house was ready and told us to go on in. Martha even had him make sure we knew where the dominoes were. They also helped with the practical stuff — AC tip, trash, how to run the fireplace for s’mores, checkout instructions. Felt easy the whole way through.The house itself worked well for a multi-couple group: several kings with their own baths, bunk room, big kitchen and dining space so we could cook and eat together without being on top of each other. You could also tell that this wasn't the typical corporately-managed VRBO where they strip every amenities in the name of 'cleanliness' - it felt like going to the house of a friend: warm and loving! Dock and lake access right there, games inside and out, quiet Catatoga Club setting. We stocked up in Cashiers/Brevard on the way in and mostly cooked at the house.

Truly a Little Piece of Heaven

The home is perfect! Ample bedrooms, several beautiful bathrooms, great gathering areas with comfortable seating inside and out. The proximity to great hikes, restaurants and small towns for strolling was perfect for our family.

We absolutely loved staying at Little Bit of Heaven for a week! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The instructions from the owners for getting to the house were helpful because google maps did try to have us go the back entrance like they said. There is so much to do nearby and great restaurants. We can’t wait to come back!

Great Mountain hideaway to recharge

We had a wonderful experience staying in the Mountains at this very comfortable and serene home. The hosts provided a great experience and I would certainly stay again and recommend to anyone who needs to getaway with family or friends to catch up.

Fabulous family vacation home!

This was our second stay at A Little Bit o’Heaven and it won’t be our last! Our family loves this property. The house is spacious, clean, well stocked and absolutely beautiful. The lake, dock, hiking trails, waterfalls and swimming pool are icing on the cake. An amazing vacation destination for family members of all ages!!

“Little bit of heaven” really is heaven on earth !! Absolutely gorgeous accommodations!!

This property is simply breathtaking, from the majesty of the home to the glorious views surrounding it. Peaceful, secluded, quiet, yet not to far from restaurants and grocery stores. In my opinion, a perfect spot for rest, reflection and relaxation!!

Family birthday

Our family loved our stay. The home was well appointed in every way. Kitchen was great for preparing large meals, the decor was upscale and lovely and the setting, so peaceful. We loved having private walks to the falls on the property. Owners were wonderful to deal with.

Amazing Property!

The perfect family retreat. From the beautiful lakefront views standing on the expansive balcony to the beautiful decor and amenities, this lakefront home is spectacular. Not to mention its just steps away from hiking trails and waterfalls. We will definitely be back!!

Wonderful stay!

We loved our time at Rick and Martha’s beautiful home - the setting was lovely (gorgeous views) and the property was in a great location with a few easy hikes available right from the property itself. They had everything we could have needed in the kitchen and the bedrooms for our group of 11 adults and kids very well. The house itself is beautiful and very well done. We hope to visit again! An amazing property - we will return!!

We selected this property for a family reunion with my husband’s siblings and our children/grandchildren. It was perfect! We never had to leave - there was so much to do for family of all ages. From kayaking, fishing, hiking, waterfalls, swimming at the pool, fire pit, corn hole - honestly too much to list - there was something for everyone! We will return to this property!

House was very nice but the neighborhood is in a state of disrepair. The listing saying we would have pool access and we did have pool access but it was very dirty. Was scared to let kids swim in it. Half of roads in neighborhood are impassable and had to use a back entrance to even access the home. My kids were very upset to not be able to swim in a pool all week. That was main reason for selecting this home. The tennis court has weeds in it waist high. Would be really nice if things were in good shape but wouldn't stay here again if things weren’t improved. The home itself was very nice though. If you aren’t looking to swim in pool any then this may be ok for you. For the price I felt like the community should have been much nicer. This was not disclosed in any way prior to arriving. Was only told about state of roads the day of check in.

Wonderful Family Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Bit of Heaven. The home was well stocked and nicely decorated with comfortable amenities for our group of 7 adults and 1 small child. We had a wonderful time hiking to the two waterfalls that can be accessed from the property. We also enjoyed using the paddle boards and kayaks at the community dock next door. We took advantage of some of the owner’s restaurant recommendations and we were also very comfortable cooking in the lovely kitchen which had everything we needed. Wonderful stay and the owners were easy to communicate with.

Wonderful Stay in Beautiful Home

We had the most glorious stay. If I could give 100 stars, I would. This house is perfect in every way - Location, floor plan, flow, furnishings. You can feel it was built with love. My favorite spot was the swing on the bottom porch. It is a magical home and any future inhabitants are lucky. Don’t hesitate to book your stay at this house- you will love it and leave with many wonderful memories.

Girls Trip

We are seven lifelong friends who travel together every year. We had a fabulous time--coffee on the porch in the morning, cocktails in the evening. Lots of outdoor activities in between. The house is beautiful! Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. EASY check in and communication with host. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent Home

This home is located in a beautiful spot half way between Highlands and Brevard. As in all mountain locations, it takes time to get from one place to another, so expect that when you head to that area! The home was exactly as promised and great for a family who likes the outdoors. The Hosts were incredibly attentive and easy to work with throughout the booking process. You will definitely get what is promised!

Fantastic family vacation

This house is magnificent! Seriously jaw-dropping! Beautifully decorated, well manicured, has everything you need. The views are beautiful and the hiking -right off the back porch- is amazing! Lots of great hiking trails in the area as well as cute eating places. Spent lots of time in the kitchen and den area cooking, eating and playing games. Loved the corn hole and shuffleboard table. Family vacation with our adult kids and everyone had their own rooms and bathrooms! Great time! Want to come back in warmer weather!
