Tam was a lone traveler and he was easy, quiet, clean and didn't use 3/4 of the unit he stayed at. Is welcome him back anytime and so hope to host him again!

Les was an awesome guest and left the property in immaculate condition. I'm always happy when my guests are comfortable and enjoying their stay and grateful when they show their appreciation for the little things we do to make their stay a wonderful experience.

Camille This is the only property I have that doesn’t have ac due to the high elevation and comfortable weather all year long. Yes, we post signs to prevent abuse of our washer / dryer as it’s an ongoing problem. However, if you had ask to use it we would have assisted you and let you do your laundry. My apologies about the key as my housekeeper had taken it upon herself to start hanging it from the wall instead of living it on the table. Otherwise I hope you had enjoyed the immaculate and pleasant cottage which we take pride in presenting in its best light to our guests to ensure a pleasant experience and wonderful stay.

I would never take it upon myself to rearrange furnitures and left a mess at any place I rent and thus expect the same from my guests. Especially short term guests.

Although I didn't have the pleasure of meeting David and his wife and their daughter during their stay as I was on a trip, my housekeeper Pastora testified to how wonderful they were . I had absolutely no issues with them at all as my guests. They left everything tidy and I'll have no hesitation hosting them anytime!

This guest was behaving in a very vindictive fashion after she decided to cut her Hilo stay short and want me to refund her of her unused dates. I couldn't accommodate a previous guest who loved the place and want to extend for 2 more weeks, I decided not to give in to her demands of a refund. She did as she threatened to do, leaving me a disgruntled review. To address some of her issues: My rental units may not be the ritz, but I take pride in providing a clean, safe and hygienic environment that guests can be comfortable in and enjoy. Certainly not equipped or furnished with expensively, but then again, I've stayed at hotels going for $350.00 plus a night with drabby furnishings and disgusting carpets among other nastiness. One of the mattresses in the unit doesn't have a box spring as it doesn't need one, as in a lot of mattresses these days. That's a brand new quality mattress that is most comfortable. I have no stains on bed covers, sheets, or towels as that's not acceptable in my business. Yes, there are slipcovers on the leather couch and chair so it can be washed between guests for hygienic purposes, and the tabletop is covered for easy wipe-down cleaning. All in all, I've had numerous satisfied guests and even return guests and am grateful for those that show their appreciation and I even have love and gratitude for dear Karla for keeping me on my toes. Hope her 25th Anniversary was at least a happy occasion despite complaints.
