Diese zwei Schlafzimmer ein Bad Haus befindet sich in einem kühlen, sicheren und ruhigen Gegend in der Hilo District. Das Eigentum ist zentral von der Hauptattraktion Sehenswürdigkeiten. Es ist 30 Meilen nach Hawaii Volcano National Park und Mauna Kea Observation Center, 2. 5 Meilen der Universität von Hawaii, 1 Meile zu Imaloa Zentrum, 5 Meilen nach Hilo Innenstadt und Rainbow Falls, und nur eine kurze Fahrt von den wichtigsten Wasserfälle und Park Strände. Es ist auch kaum 2 Meilen vom Eingang zur Saddle Road und leicht zu finden. Es liegt abseits der Hauptstraße, sehr privat und ruhig, in einer sicheren Gegend. You won’t get the resort experience here. What you will get is a clean, well- supplied cottage in a nice neighborhood with a friendly and helpful owner all at a bargain price. Also, if you like tropical vegetation, it is like living in a jungle. This was our second stay here, and we would stay again.

Diana is a wonderful host! We had everything we needed at the property. It is clean and well maintained with beautiful landscaping and convenient parking. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and proximity to family living in the area. The national park is about an hour away. Downtown Hilo, with many shops and restaurants is about a 10 minute drive. We explored several trails and beaches within a half hour drive from our location. We would enjoy staying here again!

My family loved our stay in the Ohana Cottage. The house is clean and the beds are really comfortable. Diana is incredibly kind and very responsive. This is a really cute 2 bedroom, 1 bath Ohana unit. Full kitchen and refrigerator made it convenient to have breakfast before heading out for the day. Diana was amazing and we Will definitely be booking this again when we travel back to Hilo. Mahalo much for the hospitality.

My two daughters and I spent six nights at this property. We have two issues with it. First, the bathroom sink has been completely clogged, it took a couple of hours to drain fully. Upon draining, the sink would be completely disgusting. I told about this to the property owner on the first morning. She shrugged and said she’d ask someone to take a look “at some point.” Nobody did. Also, for the life of me I couldn’t make the bathroom faucet to produce any hot water. So shaving was out of question.Second, the designated parking for this unit is in a very narrow alley next to the house. It appears that other units are being rented out by the owner, so a number of cars is parked in front of the house. As a result, on a couple of occasions I was unable to make a U turn on the property and had to get onto the street driving backwards. And the street could be pretty busy in the morning, so I felt very uncomfortable about this.Otherwise, a nice unit. But I wouldn’t rent it again.

Interesting review. First off, I was told the bathroom drains slowly. I quite honestly totally forgot about it and the guests although I live on thr premise and they saw me on and off, failed to mention this issue again. I even went up to their door to give them some of my garden avocados but they had absolutely no complaints. They mentioned loving the privacy and the cottage as a matter of fact. The parking is spacious and adequate unless one is a clumsy driver. Most guest are happy to have their very own assigned, FREE parking. I have just now checked the bathroom drain and it has no issue and there is HOT water from the same bathroom faucet that complain about. If one chose to not voice their concerns till they leave to air it on their review, I can’t help make their stay comfortable and pleasant, which is my priority as a caring host.

Very clean, kitchen was adequately equipped, host/manager easy to contact, beds were very comfortable, nice big bathroom with great shower. Beautiful plants and trees on the property. Towels were provided for beach use. Cooled off nicely in the evenings. One ceiling fan in living area didn't work but we were given a tower fan to use. Quiet complex/area. You could see the ocean but was very far off. I loved hearing the frogs at night. I would stay again if I went back to the big Island.

Great location | Amazing Host

This property was perfect for our stay in Hilo. I love the local neighborhood and the cottage was exactly as pictures and well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable and we felt like we were at home. Diana is the most amazing host - excellent communication, extremely accommodating and generously shared the fruits of the property with us. When I'm back in Hilo, this will be my first choice of places to stay.

Lovely self-contained 2 bedroom annex. Had all the necessities. We arrived late at night, so it took a little bit of time to find the actual room (as it's not the main building), but once in, all was fine. Thank you Diana for a lovely stay.
