Alles ist komplett ausgestattet mit Handtüchern, Bettwäsche und alles, was Sie brauchen, ausgestattet. Das einzige, was Sie mitbringen müssen, sind Ihre Kleidung und Ihr Essen! Es gibt auch Kajaks und Fahrräder zum Genießen!

Dies ist der perfekte Rückzugsort für jede Gelegenheit. Sie verfügen über kostenfreies WLAN, Kabel-TV und kostenlose Parkplätze. Die Weinberge (Weinprobe) und die Bauernhöfe befinden sich gleich um die Ecke. Nur wenige Schritte entfernt gibt es ein Fünf-Sterne-Restaurant mit einer Bar im Tiki-Stil, in der Sie bei einem erfrischenden Getränk entspannen können. Cute cabin

The house is small but it has everything you need. The ocean was lovely to watch and good scavenging for rocks and sea glass. Very private place. My pup and I had a good time!

Great Rustic Beach House Getaway

We rented this little cottage to visit my Mom for her birthday. It has everything you need and it’s clean! The location cannot be beat. Steps from the beautiful Long Island Sound which we went in during the 105 degree heat. The cottage has two window a/c units that kept it cool the whole time. The bed is very comfortable and there are kayaks if you want to have some fun on the water. The restaurant La Plage is a quarter of a mile away and the food and service are superb! We will definitely rent this again! Great host.

Our New Annual Getaway!!!

We were looking for a small and private beach house getaway for the weekend and found this hidden gem. Our property manager, Debbie, made herself available throughout our stay to answer all of our questions. Everything needed for our comfort weekend was provided. We strongly recommend this place for those who are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We will be returning!

Nice private location on sandy bluff overlooking a pebbly beach, with a good view of Long Island Sound and some beautiful sunsets. The cottage is truly rustic. It lacks basic necessities. But for the simple and quiet getaway we sought, it was OK. Purchases and obvious efforts had been made to bring this property to rental standards, but more needs to be done. Several issues brought to the attention of the rental agent, Debbie, were dealt with cheerfully and promptly. (As it stands now, to us, this is not really a luxury property).

Wow in Wading River!!!

The beach house was perfect! Everything we needed was there. The kitchen has every utensil you will need. We were extremely comfortable the entire stay. Debbie was a perfect host. She made sure we had everything we asked for. We really enjoyed grilling on the deck with the beautiful view of the beach. Sunsets were amazing! We can't wait to go back!

Perfect Place for Two

This was an ideal place for the two of us to enjoy a peaceful time on the beach as well as a great location for exploring Long Island. We enjoyed the best wineries of the North Fork (less than an hour away), a day trip to Montauk via Shelter Island, and a day trip to Sagamore Hill at Oyster Bay. When not exploring, we sat on the beach chairs, read, watched the waves, and cooked delightful, local produce and meats on the grill. Debbie, the manager, provided the right balance of welcome and distance, while ensuring everything we needed in a beach cottage was ready for us to get away.

Exceeded all expectations :)

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! I traveled with my husband and five month old baby as well as my German Shepherd. I cannot stress how nervous I was about my first overnight outing with baby. Debbie was absolutely amazing, she ran over a pack and play which was a lifesaver during our stay. I really appreciated the fully stocked kitchen for easy meals, internet speeds were great so both my husband and I were able to get a bit of work done, and the overall layout of the property is perfect for a small family. Also a huge plus for us was that the property feels extremely private because of the surrounding vegetation. Finally, The location is extremely convenient because there are super market very close by. This is my first time renting for a vacation in general instead of staying at a hotel and we are definitely coming back! PS - if you are coming as a couple for a romantic getaway this spot would be absolutely perfect!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 2nd stay approx. 2 years ago. Everything was exactly the same with no improvements including the electricity not working on one side of the bed, towels were stained (bring your own), cable tv was not working considering the owner did not pay the bill, The bathroom floor tiles are falling apart, the faucet needs replacement, windows need to cleaned and painted, I covered the couch with blankets due to the smell, the outside furniture was stained and didn't even use (brought my own chairs). The good news is you have a private beach that is yours to hang out in the north shore. We paid a lot more than we got.

Lazy summer days right on the water , gorgeous sunsets and amazing views. The cottage had everything you could need, including A/C on those hot humid nights. On cool nights you can open the windows and fall asleep to the sounds of the beach. Our host Debbie was super helpful and so nice and friendly, it felt like staying at a friend’s place. She and everyone at LB getaways was easy to get in touch with and a pleasure to deal with. We have rented homes from them before and will definitely book again. Highly recommended.

For us it was reminiscent of a cottage used over 10 summers on an island near Greenwich, CT.Best features--private beach and the view from the cottage wall of windows and front patio/ beach.LaPlage [French and seafood] nearby and the Bluewater Fish store [fresh seafood, prepared, and take-out meals], and the Greek Island Diner were all very good. Farmstands [Briermere and others in Riverhead] were fine but way over-priced. Did not get to vineyards, but bought a lovely local Riesling. Could also be a fun place with one or two kids or grandkids. (No dishwasher so bring lots of paper plates.)Photos of cottage are accurate. Emphasis on rustic. Owner needs to encourage and allow some luxury touches and amenities-- in bathroom and bedroom.[Agents} Debbie and Virginia were so gracious and helpful and had immediate response to problem with WiFi/ TV. Debbie also made us feel so special as guests.We definitely would recommend this setting for any couple that want a quiet get-away.

Beach Front Location

The location of this property is amazing. You have direct access to the private beach, which is beautiful. We watched the sun set every day. Unfortunately the property has sustained water damage, which can be seen and unfortunately there is an underlying damp odor. The property is best suited for a max of 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children as the pull out sofa can accommodate one person. Overall we had a wonderful time due to the location of the property.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fantastic location, and it is a nice small place big enough for 2 people with a great outdoor shower, but the cottage was not so clean. We made the mistake of dropping something under the bed and found hundreds of dead insects suggesting it hadn't been cleaned in months under there. And plenty of cockroaches in the kitchen. I guess a real rustic beach experience, eh? Needs some TLC.

Seaglass in the sand

This location is a great find for those wanting a cozy, beach cottage house! The location is on the beach hidden in the sand dunes. Gorgeous views, friendly neighbors and great communication with the owner. Highly recommend this space! It has all the basics and so much more! Can’t wait to come back again!

Private Paradise on the Sound

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was a hidden gem! We were in bliss from the moment we walked in. Even better than the photos portray. The cottage has a quaint seaside cabin feel and was literally steps from the sand and water. It is on a quiet street and has a very local, relaxed vibe. We only saw a few people during the day and it was very laid back. An absolute dream! It was clean, well stocked for cooking on their propane grill on the deck, and we felt right at home. The view is just beautiful. The property managers were friendly and helpful through text. I had concerns about the temperature in the July heat, but it was perfectly comfortable in the AC during the day (what little time we spent indoors) and with the windows open at night, could hear the gentle waves of the Long Island Sound with a nice breeze. We visited a nearby vineyard, stopped at a Lavender Farm, and spent the days relaxing on the beach which is just steps from the cottage. Well equipped with kayaks which were fun to use, beach chairs, and beach umbrella. The flies on the beach are easily deterred with bug spray, so be sure to bring some. The Wifi was fast and we spent our one rainy evening enjoying Netflix on their tv. Since it is on the Sound, the beach is has large pebbles, so bring your water shoes. Our senior dog loved walking freely on the beach in the mornings and we're so grateful they are dog friendly. We were able to build a small fire on the beach near the water (just check with the property managers for directives) so stop for firewood at a gas station before you get there. We couldn't believe that we were only 1.5 hours from our Brooklyn apartment and can't wait to return to this beach oasis!
