Florida St Cottage modern studio located Downtown!

Located within walking distance to downtown and the Old Mill District, this is the ideal location for you to experience the beautiful city of Bend. It’s an easy drive out to the many trails and lakes along the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway. In the winter hit the ski resort at Mt. Bachelor, or go sledding at Drake park!

The Space:
**This space is not suited for anyone with mobility issues, fear of heights, or climbing ladders. It would be difficult for a very large person or tall person to stay as there is limited space in the loft!**
Florida Street Cottage is a 500 sq. ft. studio located behind a house in an alley. This beautiful home was a shed that has been converted into a wonderful cozy studio. This home is perfect for anyone who loves a unique home with personality.

Starting in the loft area there is a cozy Queen size bed that you access by a built-in ladder, or if you do not like heights the couch folds out to a very comfortable sleeping option. If you look up when you walk in you will notice a netted hammock built into the home. It is the perfect place to curl up with a good book and relax, or if you would prefer not to relax on the hammock, we have a nice sitting area on the front porch so you can soak up all that good Central Oregon sunshine.

In this home you will find a full kitchen with all the essentials to make your stay easy and comfortable. We have a toaster and coffee maker provided for you. We also provide you with ground coffee. There is a nice full-size fridge with a water pitcher we fill up with fresh water for every reservation. Please note, there is no microwave. There is a full bathroom with a stand-up shower and washer/dryer for your use.

Additionally you are greeted by a lovely porch that is supplied with a small seating area and propane BBQ for your grilling desires. There is a private parking space for your use directly in front of the unit. There is no other parking in the alley.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the whole ADU. This studio is accessible via the alley behind Florida Ave. Please do not attempt to access Florida Cottage through the main property. Parking can be found directly in front of the unit, accessible from the alley.

Quiet downtown neighborhood with longtime residents, walk to the Box Factory for food, beer/wine, shopping, and even a tattoo shop!

Getting Around:
This home does have the ability to order an Uber or Lyft, its also a great spot to bike or walk from!

Other Things to Note:
One important note regarding our hot water heater. It is an on demand hot water heater. This home is heated via radiant floor heating. That means that if the temperature drops below 68 degrees (during the winter) at night, the water heater will kick on to heat the house. This does make some noise at night. If you hear it at night, keep the bathroom door closed, the sound will be dampened.

If this is too cold for you, there is an additional space heater in the unit that will heat the space up in short order.
