License # 011332 Four Friends' Cabin is a work of the heart. God led four friends to buy this cabin during December 2020. It just happened! Now we want to share our blessing with you so it can be your home away from home too!
The inside has been totally renovated, fresh paint throughout, brand new furniture throughout, brand new bedding, mattresses, new floors in bathrooms and bedrooms on main and upper floor. The master has a king log bed, The main floor has a queen bed. The downstairs is an unfinished basement but clean, every inch freshly painted and provides extra space for overflow sleeping in the Cubs' Den. The Cubs' Den has two double beds within. (See pics) The basement also provides ping pong and a separate hang out space for the kids or even another family unit. It's NOT finished, but it's on the way. We have a smart TV in the main room and one with ROKU in the "Cubs' Den" downstairs. We have free wifi for all and plan to set up a projector downstairs in our next visit.
We are near just about everything you can imagine! Love our location, it's the perfect hub! We are in north GA, almost 2 hours north of Atlanta. We are 20-35 minutes to Helen, GA, Murphy NC, Blue Ridge, GA and Tennessee. Smack dab in the middle of everything. You feel like you're in the mountains on our block, but only about 10 miles to downtown convenience; Walmart, Ingles, Home Depot and only 2 miles from Lake Nottely if you love the water in the summer like we do!
There's local hiking on the Appalachian Trail, Vogal State Park, nearby waterfalls; Helton Creek Falls and DeSoto Falls, zip lines in both Blue Ridge and Helen, GA, fly fishing, trout fishing, and water tubing/rafting on The Toccoma River from our cabin. There's Rollin Thunder River Company Ocoee Rafting and Toccoa River Tubing to choose from, let us know which is best, we've yet to go! There's even Lasso the Moon Alpaca Farm, Cabbage Patch Doll General Hospital, helicopter rides and a Casino not far away if you have a traveler that wants to do more than just hiking with you! If you look through the woods in the backyard, you can almost see the semi private Old Union Golf course, so bring your clubs if you are a golfer.
