This place is like heaven on earth! So relaxing and peaceful - it makes it hard to leave. It has all the comforts of home and is so cozy. The beds are very comfortable! It is close enough to stores and fun things to do while also being remote enough to get away from the hustle and bustle. The wrap around porch is perfect for watching the sunrise and sunset over the mountains. It is easily accessible for people with mobility issues with just a couple small stairs to get into the home and a bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, dining room, and living room all on the main level. What a lovely vacation! Just what we needed!

The cabin is cozy, very spacious and clean. We loved our stay here! Everything we needed was here in the cabin. The instructions were very clear and detailed which is very helpful. Kelly has been the best host, making sure to check in on us and recommend some spots that turned out to be great adventures for our family. Will definitely stay here again!

We love when people love our cabin like we do. It's our Happy Place and when it becomes a Happy Place for others, that is fantastic. Return guests are our favorite!!! You loved it enough to envision your next stay. We have people who want to be here 3 times a year now, for every season. That porch view changes with the weather. Hope you enjoyed Vogel State Park, The Sawmill Place (which JUST started dinner service Thursday thru Saturday), and running up to see the dam on Lake Nottely. Our stay was from July 3rd thru July 10th and it was spectacular!!! The check in and check out was extremely easy. The host Kelly was so responsive and help out whenever she was needed. The home was very clean which is always the first thing we look for. There was so much room for the 6 of us. My teenage grandsons had their own area with their own bathroom and the hot tub was right next to them. The very was breathe taking from the front porch and their were deer just roaming everywhere. We enjoyed our time there and will definitely return.

We love that there were three generations in the cabin. When we bought it, that was our thought. With three floors, there is space for everyone. The views are our favorite, too. The cabin was amazing! It was stocked up with everything needed for cooking. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was great! It was beautifully decorated for Christmas! The best sleep I’ve ever had! I loved the layout of the cabin, and the location was great! The host was very attentive and responded to our messages right away.

A tranquil getaway

Amazing mountain retreat bursting with fall color! With a bedroom and bathroom on all three levels, it's perfect for families who want to stay together and still have some privacy. Loved seeing so many deer! Kelly's guidebook had all sorts of very helpful recommendations for dining and sightseeing. As we explored North Georgia, the cabin served as our home base, and the pictures alone do not do it justice. We had everything we needed and truly felt at home. Only wish we could've stayed longer.

Thank you for the beautiful review. We were so excited when we bought the cabin. Having an ensuite up plus the loft, a bedroom and full bath on the main, and a large bedroom, bath, and second living space in the walk out basement gives us space for us, my mom, and my kids and their friends. I'm glad you got to visit all the places. Being so close to Vogel, Brasstown Bald, Chattanooga, Murphy, Blue Ridge, Helen, and the apple orchards and grape vineyards. Come back in the early summer and you can tube :). That is so much fun. Thank you again for visiting with us!

Best Vacation Spot Ever

The owners go above and beyond. It's like being gone without all the chores and so much to do. The games, hot tub, fireplace, fire pit, relaxation at to m the majestic log cabin to excellent shops and breathtaking waterfalls within a shooter drive.

The walkout basement having it's own media area, dining area and sleeping for 5 has been something several people have complemented. Shana, we are so glad you enjoyed your time here. The three levels are super helpful to give everyone their space, but the seating for 10 at the dining table encourages together time. Awesome cabin

We enjoyed a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin with absolutely gorgeous views of the mountains. The cabin worked perfectly for our family group of four adults and four children. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen, and the great recommendations for local restaurants and nearby sites to visit. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Beautiful Cabin With a View!

We enjoyed our 3 day stay at this beautiful cabin in the woods. The scenery and the atmosphere is all worth every bit of our 6 hour drive. The hosts were amazing and I definitely recommend you stay here to get away from the busy life. Great disc golf and pickleball close by. Not to mention, the hikes at Vogel were amazing.

Great Host- Easy communication

Way better than expected! A lot of detail and well stocked for guests! Quiet lovely area with many lakes, rivers, water sports and hiking nearby! We will definitely save this place for a return visit!

Gorgeous mountain stay! Relaxing and easy!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this gorgeous property. The owners are super quick and easy to communicate with and the place is super clean and comfortable. They have everything you could want to make it feel like home away from home. The location cannot be beat! Just a short drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Helen, Dillard, and so much more. We will definitely return!

When we were searching for a cabin, we wanted to be far enough away to be able to get to the quiet hikes and coffee shops, but we also wanted to be close enough to everything. Hank and I have been traveling to the mountains almost as long as we've been married. Last year we decided we wanted to make the dream of owning a cabin a reality. Through a FB post and a friend, Owl's Ridge became ours. It's never been a rental, but we wanted to share it with people until we are there full time. We love to hike and kayak. Vogel and Amicalola State Parks are favorites of ours and escaping the Florida heat to get to the mountains is just a dream come true.
We look forward to sharing our home with others who want to escape to the mountains.

Honestly, we never dreamed we would own a cabin this beautiful. This was a blessing and the minute we saw it, we were in love. Even now, we wake up in the middle of the night and thank God for the mountains, the weather, the cabin, the neighbors and more. Owl's Ridge is literally on a ridge. We can see the Appalachian Mountains in Georgia all year around. In the winter time, when the leaves have browned, we can see the North Carolina mountains. We are literally a football field away from NC.
There is nothing like the view from our porch...nothing.
