3 Bedroom 3 Bathroom Freestanding villa located in Bougainvillea, a Gated Community, with a pool exclusive to Bougainvillea Clients overlooking The Gulf of Mexico.

There is Great Fishing at this location! You can bring your boat in for pick up and drop off or fish From The Dock Located Next to The Vaca Cut Waterway to the Atlantic Ocean!

This unit has a fantastic spacious floorplan and is unique in that it offers an elevator to the second and third floor from the ground/carport.

A fully equipped kitchen for the novice or gourmet cook that is open to the living room and balcony, complete with outdoor seating. A spiral staircase will access an outdoor lounge with a firepit and a grilling station. A panoramic view of Marathon awaits you in this private relaxing space.

1 king and 2 Queen spacious bedrooms feature their own private attached baths. Bedroom 3 has its own bath right off the bedroom.

On the second floor~ 1 king bedroom with attached bath with shower stall, separate jet tub, balcony, and another queen bedroom on the second floor. The washer and dryer is also located on the second floor. Third floor consists of Living/Dining Area, Balcony off of Living Room, with water views, The Kitchen, Queen Bedroom, and Bathroom with shower stall.

We have also included a private to your villa 6 person hot tub. And of course what the villas are famous for~ each villa has their own rooftop patio with amazing water views, and fabulous breezes off the Gulf of Mexico

We do not have a dedicated boat slip to this Villa, sorry. You can dock temporarily to get on and off, but you can not keep your boat at the dock; only trailer daily, but there is a ramp just around the corner. Marina across the road is available if you have a boat.

There is enough parking underneath the home for 2 cars.

Great location, but unfortunately the condition of the home did not justify the cost. The listing photos appear to show the home when it was newer & better maintained and did not accurately reflect its current condition. There were multiple maintenance & cleanliness issues that should have been addressed before guests arrived. Carpets were very dirty, kitchen tiles were cracked and uneven, tile in the master bath posed safety concern. The upstairs bedroom ceiling had prior patchwork & collapsed during two rainstorms despite attempted repairs. We also dealt with a constantly dripping toilet, which we fixed ourselves, rusty unusable bikes, missing fishing poles that were listed, torn & dirty rooftop cushions, unreliable internet, dirty hot tub, a loose dishwasher, dirty dishes in cabinets, and even a cockroach in the kitchen. Rotted fascia boards fell onto the deck during our stay, basic supplies were inadequate for a 3 week stay, beds & bedding were uncomfortable, loose & screwed down stair runners appeared to cover stained carpeting, management arrived unannounced during rain to apply more caulk to the ceiling. This was our 1st time using VRBO. We contacted management requesting partial reimbursement & received NO response. VRBO also reached out to management on our behalf by email & phone with NO response. We were ultimately told that we could have been relocated had we called during our stay, something we were not aware of at the time. NO resolution was provided.

BEST HOUSE EVER!!!!!

This house is absolutely AMAZING and my family and I would 100% stay here again. This vacation rental has everything— from paddle boards to kayaks, fishing poles and PLENTY OF TOWELS, and incredible views from every point.

Multiple Serious Issues - Would Not RecommendBroken Elevator (Listed Amenity): Host notified us one hour before check-in that elevator was unavailable. Had to carry luggage for 6 people up two flights. Elevator broke twice during stay. When working, screeched loudly waking guests.Health Hazards: Moldy air handlers with severely clogged filters throughout property. Four guests with asthma/allergies affected. Host visited, I showed the mold - host replaced only 1 of 2 filters, ignored mold. Roaches in bathroom towel cabinets.No Hot Water: Kitchen hot water stopped three days before checkout. Host could not repair before departure.Poor Cleaning: Despite substantial fee, property poorly cleaned - dirty dishes in cabinets, greasy handles, excessive dust, stained carpets. No cleaning supplies for 14-night stay.Safety Issues: Broken door locks (couldn't secure property), stair runners with exposed screws snagging feet, unstable bathroom floor, unsecured dishwasher tilting dangerously, holes in walls, deteriorating balcony ceiling.Host offered minimal compensation. Property needs significant repairs. Would not recommend.

This is a very nice place with all kinds of great things to do just there at the house and plenty more a short drive away! My kids loved it especially the pool hot tub and fishing right off the dock. The host is very accessible and responds quickly. There is even an elevator to haul your heavy bags up!

We usually stay at rv resorts. This was our first time renting a home in marathon

The house was very accommodating. Clean and the area was lovely. Neighbours were lovely as well. My pet peeve the beds were uncomfortable small and sheets were warm, very noisy every time we moved or turned, very little sleep. In the bedroom we slept in 3rd floor corner ceiling had a big hole, window had a beehive outside of it. Last week 2 houses down we had a family of motorcycles am pm very loud. My 18 year old dog was happy with elevator as well as all of us very convenient. Although I knew all the accommodations ahead of time I should’ve asked about the beds. I will rent again it’s nice to have a house . Thank you appreciate everything.

Thank you Maria! All the beds are standard queen size. Perhaps you have a king size at your house and that is what made your bed feel small? We have updated bedding since your stay. The ceiling corner needs some drywall mud but it isn't a hole. No daylight can be seen. Glad you enjoyed use of our elevator. It is a great convenience in a house with 3 levels.

A bit disappointed this time

Let me start by saying it’s not all bad. 2nd time at the property. First time much better. We came this year to renew our vows which were amazing by the dock just the 5 of us. Permission by Tim thank you. A couple of hiccups some worse than others. We come for three to four weeks as we own a company that’s open all year long. We need long unwinding with our family. The home is where we thrive. Especially this time I had sciatica and driving made it worse coming from Ct. my husband the same back issues. My first complaint, which had been last years as well, BEDS! Too small for couples. Small queen. We gave the second floor to our sons as it is easier for us to be on 3rd floor with kitchen and living room. Our bed had no topper for 2 1/2 weeks before Tim gave us one and it was a full size instead of queen and unfortunately didn’t work made sleeping worse. Our backs were compromised even further. One of my sons left earlier and I slept in that bed to give my husband space. The beds on second floor better softer. New sofa bed I noticed but the only seating and we were five people. Very hard. Outside on 3rd floor deck was where we had our meals, inside high table not convenient. The bar style no back on stools not good and only 4. Chairs outside the material mesh ripped we had to bring up the chairs from 2nd floor deck. We were without tv in 3 bedrooms for 5 days. We are tv people especially when our backs were not well. We are low key vacationers. 2nd floor toilets would flush most of the time and then others you needed to flush them more than 5 times before everything flushed. Water stopped running for a whole day that is not cool. Not Tim’s fault of course. Barbecues filthy couldn’t use. Water bugs in bathroom yuks. Told Tim he put some motels. The steps had some carpet tops and I had to take them off because they kept moving and my daughter n law tripped. A hazardous situation. Tv by jacuzzi didn’t work at all the whole 3 weeks. The elevator which I told Tim about when he was there fixing tvs was so noisy that when my husband would take my dog out at 6 am would wake everyone. Tim was really helpful thank you. My opinion for the amount of time and money spent on vacation in this home there should be a better response to getting these small things done. Yes small I’m a diyer but I was not going to fix things on my vacation. We will be looking elsewhere next year unfortunately as we are planning on 4 or more weeks. Thanks

We are so very sorry that you had these issues during your stay, we thought we had corrected them for you quickly, and all was okay. We do try our best to respond as quickly as possible and to take care of any issues that our guests may have. Here in the Keys we do not have stores available like on the mainland, that in its self makes it difficult to buy things quickly, like the mattress topper. Our guests all have different tastes in mattress firmness, so we were hoping the topper that we provided for you, at least made your stay a little more comfortable. The upper keys had a water main break twice during your stay, and we had no water off and on and little or no pressure for a week all the way to Key West, it was trying for us all for sure. We also had issues with the internet provider and we agree, it took to long to fix but was out of our hands. Palmetto Bugs are a little bit of a nuisance here in the Keys, but does not reflect on the cleanliness of the property. We do try very hard to be sure our guests have a great experience. We strive to make our guests stay as problem free as we can and hope that you will reconsider re booking with us. Thank You, Missy

Nice house in good location

The house was nice, checkin was excellent, however several things did not work properly. For instance, the sleeper sofa in the downstairs bedroom was broken but the 6 year could sleep in it but the bar was very uncomfortable. We used a blow up bed for the 8th person. The stove top stayed red as if if it was hot but it stayed red the entire time. The filtered water on the refrigerator did not work. The thermostat kept reverting back to 78 degrees if you did not adjust to the temperature we wanted every 2 or 3 hours. This was very difficult during the night and several nights you woke up because we were hot and turned the thermostat to 72. When we checked out instructions were to have all dishes put away by 9:30 am. We couldn’t run the dishwasher for our coffee and breakfast so we just wash them. Not sure this is very sanitary. Otherwise we did enjoy the pool and the people we met were very nice. The rooftop was very nice but we could only use it the last night of our stay since the weather was so hot. The hot tub was very nice as well.

Spring Break

This was a great property. Very comfortable for 8 people. My teenagers loved the short walk to the dock and the pool. My younger boys loved watching all the fisherman come in on the dock. The house was nicely stocked and the PM was delightful. We plan on making Marathon an annual trip.

We loved our vacation stay. The location was excellent. We were very close to all of the things we wanted to do and enjoyed the house and the amenities. Our only complaint would be the comfort of the beds. We all had trouble getting moving every morning because the mattresses were not comfortable at all.

Wonderful Stay - Beautiful House

Space was large and accommodated my family of five well. Comfortable and clean. Loved and would stay again. Michelle and Capt'n Jay were awesome - had a wonderful fishing trip. We highly recommend.

Dolphin villa

My first time using VRBO and it was an excellent experience. The villa was just as it was listed. The entire place was very clean including the property.

Pros but more cons

Pros: There is an elevator so nice for bringing up suitcases. The decor is nice. There are several gathering areas that are nice, especially rooftop. Cons: Not clean. Dirty and stained carpet. Dirty surfaces including doors, cupboards. They advertised spices in kitchen but none available. We were told it was due to covid but neighbors had spices in their unit. Hot tub is grimy with dirt and sand. Called for service but still dirty and we have all owned hot tubs so we know you can get them clean. Three separate neighbors who have rented multiple years said this is one they have heard not to rent.

Fantastic Birthday

I rented this property because we wanted to do different things in both ends of the Keys and this property was a central location. Michelle was super helpful in making sure we had a fantastic time. We had issues with getting the fireplace to work and she messaged me back right away and we were able to enjoy the rooftop view and the fireplace. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. It was cozy but still had enough room for the teens to have some separate space and enjoy the pool and hot tub. If we come to the Keys again we would rent again.

Great house

Great centrally located Marathon house. Clean and plenty on room with 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths. Quiet area with just about 12 houses which share pool and entrance. Rooftop deck is nicely equipped
