University Bungalow with AC in a Relaxed, Safe Area

Onyx House is open for The World Athletic Championship! Rent our charming 80 year old bungalow in this friendly university neighborhood. Owners Mark and Alice manage it and live nearby and are happy to help you get situated with lots of local knowledge. Open for this event or longer term rentals only.

Our house is a mile from Hayward field and within walking distance to many parks and restaurants including the Amazon Park and pool, and several running trails. It is fully furnished, stocked, well cleaned and equipped with quality linens and paper goods.

One bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, two night tables with lamps and chargers, closet, dresser and AC unit.

The second bedroom has a daybed with trundle, side table with lamp and chargers, dresser, closet and AC. This daybed functions as a sofa but it made up for a twin bed. Below the day bed is a trundle bed with twin mattress that easily slides out and pops up to the same level as the day bed. Placed side by side they are the size of a King bed but can be used separately as two twins. The room is small and may require some climbing over to access the daybed. They have almost new mattresses and bedding and are very comfortable.

A third room off the living room has the washer/dryer, desk and french door to the deck.

The living room is equipped with comfortable sofa, two swivel chairs and 32" TV and roku. The internet is great at >100mbps.

The kitchen has an electric range, full size fridge and everything you need to prepare most meals. There's a dinette with table and 4 chairs. The bath has a tiled tub and shower, cabinets and window.

The house has a pretty yard with flowers, trees and birds and the neighborhood has an overall friendly vibe. The carport is next to the kitchen and another car can park behind in the drive. There is usually ample street parking.

One dog is OK but please pick up after them.
