Villa DiCroce is a single villa property that has Solar panels and 4 Tesla Wall Batteries for backup power during power outages of unknown duration.
Villa DiCroce, formerly known as Hart Bay Ridge Villa, is an architectural gem under new ownership. This spectacular villa is situated overlooking Hart Bay and Chocolate Hole on the southern side of St. John. Just a quick ride to Cruz Bay or to the gorgeous white sand beaches on the north side of the island. This house has a refreshing pool with a large Chicago brick style pool deck, a large veranda and a back yard with hammocks, chaise lounges - a perfect spot for bocce or corn hole. This house has a large high ceiling great room with fully equipped kitchen, kitchen bar, mahogany dining room table and living room. There are 3 master en suite bedrooms with walk-in closets, private balcony or deck and bathrooms. There is a constant breeze that runs through the house which is refreshing. Sleep to the sounds of the ocean surf from Hart Bay. The majestic views are magnificent from St. Croix to St. Thomas. The sunsets are spectacular and the twinkling is magical as lights illuminate the islands. This is a very comfortable house that has its' own driveway, with arched windows and doorway, mahogany, native stone and Mexican tile throughout. There is also a media room with a wet bar, office and laundry facilities. We have a big grill on the outside pool patio. We provide beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella (and another style too) and beach coolers to make it easy for you to go to the beach! If you are coffee drinker, we have lots of options including a drip coffee maker, French press, grinder for your coffee beans and the original Nespresso machine. Come see for yourself, you won't be disappointed! It's simply stunning here!

We love the ocean that's why we have always lived near the water. Having spent most of our Caribbean time in the Cayman Islands, it took a worldwide pandemic for us to discover (what many already knew) St. John! This island is really special and we fell in love with this paradise known as "Love City". We are very active travelers who scuba dive (best diving in the U.S. Virgin Islands is St. Croix) and love the water - snorkeling, swimming, the colors of the Caribbean, boating, the fish and wildlife. St. John is mostly a national park so there is a lot of hiking. St. John also has wonderful restaurants and local specialities. If you are seeking serenity, peace and quiet, need to recharge your batteries, destress, relax and to have fun, then St. John is the place to go!

The pictures of our villa do not capture the essence of standing on the veranda ~ seeing the panoramic view from St. Croix to St. Thomas, listening to the sounds of the surf in Hart Bay, taking in the aroma of the Frangipani trees, hearing the sounds of the Laughing Gulls, the magic of dusk when the islands become illuminated and the dazzling night sky where there is no light pollution. We have 3 en-suite bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate 6 adults (max). We have surround sound so you can enjoy watching our new 65" OLED TV or listening to music. Our pool - which has two pool decks - is refreshing with spectacular views. Read a book and have your coffee on the veranda. Or have a glass of wine. Our kitchen is a cook's kitchen ~ dine in at our custom made mahogany table, sit on the barstools or dine outside on the veranda. Our walls are adorned with art from local artisans. We have an office and media room (with wet bar) on the lower level, which is also the access to our backyard where there is a fountain, hammocks and lawn games. There is a lot of wildlife here from birds to iguanas to deer. Our home is wonderfully designed with spacious high ceilings, loads of stone, tile, brick and mahogany - an architect's dream of arches and solid construction!

One comment we hear a lot about our villa is how we have an indoor staircase to the lower level whereas most villas only have access from the outside, which can be challenging at night. Another comment is the unreliability of the local power company so we installed solar panels and Tesla batteries. Roads on St. John require 4WD vehicles due to their poor condition so we paved our road. We are located at the end of our road on top of a hill so have expansive views and privacy with ample parking. Our property and villa offer expansive views, a constant breeze (deters the mosquitoes), privacy, comfort, and the feel of your very own private luxurious estate.
