Welcome to Sunrise Condo at Lumberyard Lofts, a bright and comfortable 4-bedroom stay just one block from Lake Pepin, the beach, and marina in the heart of Pepin, Wisconsin.

This combined listing includes Moonbeam Condo and Sunbeam Condo, offering a total of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, and 2 living areas. The layout is ideal for families, wedding guests, and friends traveling together who want both connection and flexibility.

One of the most distinctive features of Sunrise is the loft-style bedrooms, which catch the soft morning light and create an open, airy feel throughout the space, as well as how the condos connect - there's a hotel-style connecting door between the two Condos, so no need to go outside to access the other rooms.

Each condo includes a fully equipped kitchen with cookware, bakeware, dishes, and utensils, along with coffee, spices, tea, and sugar. We also provide towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and a full set of beach towels and bags for your stay.

Sunbeam includes a bonus Murphy bed in the living room for additional sleeping, while Moonbeam offers a loft-style living space and easy access to an outdoor patio area with fire pit and seating.

Together, the space comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests in beds, with optional airbed kits available for additional flexibility.

The location is one of the biggest advantages. Guests can walk to the Pepin Beach and Marina, as well as local favorites like the Harbor View Café, the Pickle Factory, and the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum.

Sunrise is also ideally located for wedding guests:

Family stay

We enjoyed our stay in town for a family wedding. We had a family of 11 people and had plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Nice, clean property. Everything is in close walking distance, we hit the adorable Bistro every day!! We only wish we had plans to come in the summer when Pepin is full of boats & people and weather is warmer to be out and about. Cute lil place to stay!

Not as clean as we would have liked

Overall, our stay was nice. The location was great and the check-in process was super simple and convenient. However, there were stains on our bedding, the shower heads were very dirty, and there were lots of bugs inside. This time of year, I understand that bugs are kind of inevitable, but we were really disappointed in the cleanliness overall.

You are right that an occasional bug on a windowsill at this time of year is inevitable, but you shouldn't have had to experience anything less than a clean and up-to-par unit. Great Property - Loved the town

A group of nine friends stayed here for our girls' weekend. There was plenty of parking for our cars (7 cars)...there were more spaces than that. There was enough space for all of us to hang out.. Very short walk to great restaurants and bars. Also, close to beach and great neighborhood for walking. A thing to note: train tracks a block away ... can feel slight shaking in the beds when trains go through. Communication with owner was very responsive and great. I would recommend this property.

Wonderful Loft with amazing space

My family and I were a group of 13 with a mixture of adults and kids and we were in town for a wedding so we needed a place with plenty of space. The sunrise Condo we stayed in was the perfect size for our group. It is an amazing space for a big family. The rooms are very comfortable and having a kitchen upstairs and a kitchen downstairs was fantastic. 2 identical bathrooms that are nice and spacious and a laundry room which was nice. There is also plenty of TV's for the kids to stay entertained. Jill and Julia were wonderful hosts. If you are in the area and need a spacious place to stay with a big family, this place is perfect. I highly recommend this loft and we will definitely be coming back to stay again in the near future.

The property manager was professional and organized. The property itself was awful. It was so bad we chose not to stay in it. Lots of bugs all over the exterior. Really old and dingy carpet. All the stairs and floors were uneven. Just a really low quality rental with a really odd floor plan. It was totally thrown together.

No concerns were raised to us during Jeremy's stay, and his party stayed in and used both this unit and another over Labor Day Weekend. To specifically address his concerns, the carpet was installed 6 years and is in good condition, and shampooed twice yearly. All floors and stairs are level - how do we know? The floor joists were reinstalled in 2013, with state inspection and approval, and the entire unit was rebuilt from scratch, including stairs, floors, drywall, trim, doors, etc. Floorplans are provided in the listing so guests can see ahead of time how bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms and such are laid out. Lumberyard Lofts is a remodeled lumberyard building, and while Jeremy's own home may not have a kitchen on a first floor and bedrooms above, such a layout is not uncommon in remodeled buildings, especially loft layouts. While we're sorry Jeremy chose to review this home with such negativity, we can assure future guests that this home is well-taken care of, clean and very intentional, light and charming in design and decor.

Forever Family Time

For the most part we enjoyed our stay, at the Sunrise Condo. It was clean and had extras which was nice. The property could use a little more items for cooking for bigger groups. We made it work. The Condo is a little pricey for what you get and for the area but unfortunately it is hard to find places for 10 people. The decibel meters are a new thing for me, and I have stayed in over 20 VRBO. We were playing games with the family past 10pm and my father and mother who are 79 and 75 were playing also (they not like loud music or loud things)- so it was not that loud but somehow we set off the decibel reading of .50 which after we looked up .50 decibel it is not that loud as a vacuum runs at .75. It ended our game playing with the family which was unfortunate. We understand that people need to be respectful of neighbors. The manager or owner Jill was great to work with.

First of many Family Gatherings

We decided to "gift" our adult children a Christmas present of staying as a family (significant others as well) for a 4-5 day vacation. Pepin, WI was the perfect place to start our annual tradition. Clean (although would suggest power washing the front of building), well stocked, centrally located to Mississippi River fun. We sailed, bar/brewery hopped in neighboring towns, listened to live music at wineries, visited Eagle Reserve...and just spent time with each other...no distractions!! Would come again!

Enjoyable Stay

Nice place to stay for family get together. Two well equipped kitchens and bathrooms worked well for larger group. Well kept, clean and up to date inside. The place sleeps 10-11 in beds, it is nice that the owner will allow more guests if desired, e.g. 17, although there isn't much room in the bedroom floors for the air mattresses that the owner can provide nor are the couches pull outs. The first floor consists of kitchen only, so need to climb stairs to utilize main space. Very nice that the rental is nearby to the marina, dining, & shops.
